This might be a good option for you:
One of my candidates for GOTY would have to be Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer. I can't get enough of it. I enjoy playing the physical game, but it's fantastic to be able to play a quick game by passing around the iPad, and I have 3-4 games going at any given time with my friends on my phone. The potential of…

Already done? There was no way I was going to keep up with the schedule.
I agree that some hires don't work out, but you still have to act when you realize you made a mistake. Considering the other PR firm they hired actually dropped them as a client because they didn't want any association with this guy, it sounds like there were some big red flags that they chose to overlook.
The manufacturers are the ones who made the mistake of hiring this person to represent them. If they want to make it right, they should reach out to the customers, apologize, and earn their business back.
There's a difference between objectivity and dismissal.
I have that card. There's something about this piece of art that throws me off. I thinks it's the perfect right angle of the blade in perfect alignment with the edges of the piece. It draws my focus and then it's like a two dimensional abstract shape that alters the perspective of the whole thing. Every time I see it,…

So your point is that in other forms of media, the scales are more balanced?
Yes! Kate Beaton rocks!
Does that mean that they are ever going to be the driving force behind its creation or consumption? Probably not.
I've spent more total time playing Minesweeper than any other PC game.
I was thinking of it more as a background story that might be referred or a alluded to build a plausible reason for how the character ended up in her situation. It would be a foundation for building her character traits and motivations, but wouldn't really be part of the plot of the game.
One scenario I could think of that is less dark than a murder-revenge is a tom-boy orphan that gets caught up in the crime system. Someone who spent her whole life hanging out with the guys and crime is the way she knows how to get ahead. She's a misfit who is never quite accepted as one of the guys, and definitely…
I would think that a female protagonist would probably be more hardened and guarded than the typical male. I would think that in the male-dominated crime world, she would have to work much harder to prove herself, and she would get so much shit along the way, that she would always have her guard up. At the same time,…
