The PSN model for sure. If people are really into online play, then I'm sure it's worth paying for the online subscription, but it really annoys me that I would have to pay $50 per year just to play online co-op with the 2 people that I know who have a 360, or watch netflix. That kind of basic stuff should be free.

@mr.handy: I agree. It all depends on the expiration, but if it doesn't expire then that's a really good idea. I like playing games on my own schedule.

I think there are are two main types of pirates:

@battra92: Agreed. I've downloaded ROMs and videos in the past, but in the end they are never as enjoyable as the real thing and I don't even end up using them.

@Datacide: Developers work hard and they absolutely deserve to make money off their hard work. However, the article is discussing the damage that it does to the industry, not the morals of it.

@Syptel: It's just gamestop making a cheap buck off you.

@Thomas Archuleta: Well put. There are hundreds of skins out there for Steam on Windows. It seems like people just want to go out of their way to hate, even if it means completely ignoring the obvious.

@jack2pot: Wow, they are actually going to finish building that?

I did $10. I already have World of Goo, but whatever. They really deserve a lot more, but that's as high as I can go for a total impulse purchase, and I'm worried that I'll forget if I wait. Thanks to the developers for doing this.

Those screenshots look a lot nicer than fallout 3 and have a lot more color. Are the graphics significantly better or is it just the PC version?

@GearsOfWar12: It's just a personal preference. It's true that there are more similarities than differences, but having played both of them, I just feel like Rock Band is the more fun, higher quality experience, whereas the guitar hero games feel more slapped together. I also prefer the Rock Band instruments and how

I would buy this in a second if it were Rock Band and not Guitar Hero.

Apparently this only works on windows.

So, that means I can get all 4 Pixeljunk games for $15? I'm sold!

@BananaStandCEO: I don't see anywhere in the article where he called the developer racist. You say that it's worthless to talk about, but even the level of analysis that you just did about how the lack of diversity in games may be a direct result of a lack of diversity in the industry is very worthwhile topic to

@BananaStandCEO: Maybe some gamers do care about race. A lot of gamers want to feel like they can identify with characters, and racial identity is a large part of our personal identity.

That's very interesting about coping mechanisms.
