@JayUnreal, JASON!: Tough call, but I think I'll have to go with Split/Second. I haven't played the Blur demo yet, so I'm basing it all on hype at this point.

I need advice. Which one should I choose:

I'm debating a purchase at this moment. I jumped on a Toys 'r us sale recently where I picked up God of War Collection, Brutal Legend, Assassin's Creed and Dead Space Extraction for $75 total. I haven't even had time to start any of those. Now there's a sale at Walmart where I could get Uncharted, Infamous and

@Ice_man: I had bad issues with the sound. It bothered me enough that I sold it.

@battra92: craigslist might be a good option for finding something cheap

@Deanb: Ahhh. The word "cautioned" isn't used that way in the US. Now it makes more sense.

This could have been a really interesting article about the relations between Japan and America, but it's just a series of poorly researched, oversimplified generalizations.

I have a DOS emulator on my mac. That was a freaking pain to get working.

@BigManMalone: Should a phone company have the right to tell you who you can call, or what you can talk about? Should a water company have the right to tell you whether you take a shower or bath? Should an electricity company be able to tell you which brand of electronics you use? Should those in charge of road

For large "collecting" missions, I like when I know the general area where I'm missing something but not the exact location. I would suggest segregating the city into sections with something like 25 orbs each and then keep track of them separately. I thought that worked well in Prince of Persia.

BioWare obviously isn't ant-gay when it comes to romance. In general, they are fairly ahead-of-the-curve as far as I can tell.

@LeafRunner: Refenes is the one who took the tiny subset who bought his game and used it to draw conclusions about the whole app store consumer base, so the

@hazelnut: Even if those people fully intended to buy that app for $400 and were satisfied with the purchase (for whatever reason), that's still a ridiculously small subset of Apple users. While it's an interesting anecdote, it's ridiculous to use it to draw conclusions about the app store user base.

@vanchrian: I believe that estimates for unreported crimes are derived from academic studies that are independent of the criminology system. That's not to say that they are 100% right, but they at least provide a general picture of the ratio of crimes that are reported.

Wait a second, so now all of us idiot, non-gamer Apple consumers are supposed to support this guy by buying a purposefully gimped version of his game so that he can use it to further argue that we're all idiot non-gamers?

@hazelnut: Exactly what did he prove? That 8 people out of millions are dumb, or that they accidentally clicked on something?

@Strife Fox †: You could build a much more powerful device, but then it would be a big 'ol box that sits in one place. The whole concept of the iPad is portability, so it's really a different ballpark.

@hkhawkins: Or maybe Apple has earned a reputation of being worth paying attention to for certain people.
