@Knoxximus Kiryu: I'm glad that games are there for you, but I would be out the door in a second if my partner ever said something like that to me.

@bobtheduck in Korea: Thanks, and thanks for making it through the ridiculously long post. I have to work on being concise.

@GGear0323: I had forgotten that number signs will turn anything into tags. It does end up looking wikipedia-ish, except that clicking on the "links" won't actually take you anywhere useful.

@lineypi: I think you're right about the age thing. Going to the movies when I was younger was often an excuse to get out of the house or dorm. Now things are set up the way I like and I enjoy watching things at home. If I'm going to see something in the theater, I want it to be something that's worth seeing on a big

In reference to Halo 3 on the expensive games list:

This process is very fascinating. I like the final box art, but I find #5 to be a visual mess (though good in concept). It makes me curious how each of these covers would have looked if they went through the entire design process.

This argument seems pretty weak. First off, they are talking about a 3 month trend. Videogames might be steadily increasing in popularity, but nothing has happened in the last 3 months that would suddenly shift the habits of moviegoers. Secondly, none of the movies they cite as examples of this domination are really

I like the concept and the artist is clearly talented, but it would be nice to be able to opt for a shirt that wouldn't be completely embarrassing to be seen wearing in public.

@madammina: The level design in Psychonauts. Every one was completely unique and some of them absolutely blew me away.

@flox44: I like this series. I've been keeping an eye out for a new one, it's been a while.

@legendnthemaking: A diamond ring and a 360 + games? You are going all out for this.

Damnit! I just watched it because I was so curious on how they would attempt to make this sound exciting. I could have just read this. Wait, didn't Barmy get kicked off? He gave the tearful goodbye.

I'm not a person that thinks it's my right to pirate games (I don't pirate), but if I pay for a game, I do think it's my right to have unrestricted access to play it.

The story about the BMX XXX would have been a lot more interesting if we could actually see the cover than he designed. He's talking about how non-traditional designs get rejected, but we don't even get to see an example. How is that meaningful? How do we know that it wasn't rejected for some other reason?

@D-K: Definitely Pokemon.

@Y-bot: Fear of fear

@SuicidalEarthworm: I don't understand why BC is such a big deal. Taking a quick gander at craigslist, there are tons of PS2s for sale in the $30-50 range.

@atg1: I used to be all about finding every little thing and using guides to make sure I miss nothing, but I've gotten myself out of that habit because it takes a lot of fun out of the game. Now I refuse to even look at a guide unless it's to help me with a very specific issue that is threatening to ruin the game for

@masonsturtle: I almost always wait. I just can't justify to myself to spend $60 on a game when there are still a bunch on great games in the $20 range that I haven't played yet.
