@bakagaijin: Overall I really like them too. I think I've gotten a lot more out of my games thanks to trophies. I just realized that it's nice to play a game without them once in a while.

@Etheris: I think that's true. It's like when you don't notice the white noise in the background until it suddenly stops. I never realized that it was affecting my mindset about how I play. I don't think that it's because I am concerned about other people seeing it as much as just the personal reminder that I missed

@Slagathorian: That's true. It's nice that it's not proprietary, but it's still annoying that they could just provide a reasonably long cord.

@TylDurden: @gojikan: @-MasterDex-: @elmorepow: @Anemone: @abasmic: @Laughin_Caulk: @DreamcastFanboy: @Zolbrod: Thanks for all the great advice. It seems like these issues aren't bad enough to be too concerned.

@Y-bot: Borderlands

I started playing Ratchet and Clank TOD and after about 3 hours, I noticed that I hadn't gotten any trophies. Two minutes later, I discovered it didn't have trophies. I was surprised that I felt relieved.

@Slagathorian: The USB cord for the PS3 is so short! The whole point is to be able to continue playing when it's charging, but I feel like I'm inches from the TV.

Speaking of the PSP...does anyone have a strong opinion of 2000 vs 3000? I've read that the 2000 screen has ghosting issues and the 3000 has interlacing issues. Has anyone noticed this? Is it bad enough to bother you?

@iampearithead: I did basically the same thing, and I spent less than the 5 DLCs:

@evc1989: I'm against selling games back to retailers for the exact same reason you like it. I don't have unlimited income and therefore I'm not going to just give away the extra $20 I could get for a game to a retailer. I don't sell often, but when I do, I sell directly via craigslist.

@evan.leingang001: That's only half the picture. In your example, you are only buying new games, but in order for it to work, people have to be buying those used games that you are trading in. Now consider the people who are buying the games you traded in. Assuming that they are very current games since you're getting

@maxtothez: It's how I wasted time at work before Kotaku.

@ARCH_27: It has a practice mode where you can isolate individual harmonies. I do wish that it let you assign mics to specific parts in the main game though.

@josh6135: It doesn't look like either of your two considerations have mics, so I assume you're just looking for regular headphones? I love the Sennheiser PX100. They are super comfortable and light, so I can wear them all day and barely notice (with glasses), and they have great sound quality for their price range.

@Slagathorian: I would love to see a new top down zelda with sprites and the whole shebang. I've been really disappointed with PH and ST, they never felt as deep and they really shifted the focus towards gimicks. It's especially frustrating because the handhelds were keeping the old 2D alive for a long time.

@battra92: If you like fighting games, Blazblue is supposed to be awesome, but I haven't played it.

@thedoraz: Personally, I found the bosses in both 2-1 and 1-2 to be tough (especially with no magic) but it's way easier to get to the boss in 2-1 and recollect your souls. There's a tough section right before the Tower Knight and I lost my souls a bunch of times trying to get back to him.

@TiltingMills: This is basically exactly what I was thinking, articulated much better than I ever could.

@battra92: I keep meaning to see that, it looks charming.
