I’m pretty sure all of those women had a “normal” weight gain. Everyone’s body is different. Hayden Panettierre is also 5 foot nothing, so 40 pounds on her is very different from 40 pounds on Milla Jovovich, who is 5’9.

The implication is that she should feel guilty. After all the most important “person” is the unborn one, not the real child. The real child is just a fetus machine who’s life doesn’t count because she’s born and female.

That made me so angry too. Like, get the fuck over it, not everyone feels guilty about their abortions. This is obviously a harmful stereotype and I wish it would die already.

One is the child; the other is that birth mother who often will go through extraordinary guilt years later when she begins to think through what happened — with the baby, with her.
