BONG

I got a Community notification for—oh wait, that makes sense.

It’s finally ham’s time to shine!

We’re still eating out (well, getting carryout) 2x a week and tipping more than we previously would have, so overall our food costs have gone up noticeably — but, I haven’t bought gas in over a month, my husband hasn’t bought gas since early March, we’re not paying tolls, getting lunch/snacks at work, buying clothes,

A Trump supporter referring to another country’s government as being run by “thugs” is blatant projection

You’ve made the grave error of assuming that these brain-dead idiots actually know or understand the origins of the terminology they co-opted

I know I speak for the entire AV Club when I say we are all SO sorry that you had to find out this way, seeing how close you were. Condolences.

Just bought it. Now I need to create something called Viepass, and use the site as a place to convince people that they need ‘mo of it.

I saw 29 movies for less than $60. It was great for awhile.

I’m sure they believe that every time they use it, they own a lib.

Trump did that a few times and then one of the few adults in the administration told him it sounded racist to people smart enough to know he meant it that way (the ones he wants to believe he isn’t racist) but not to his dumb supporters who couldn’t figure out the dog whist (who he absolutely wants to be a racist for)

Trump thinks saying “I don’t know him” is the most discrediting thing he can say about a person, once again overestimating the power of his endorsement. He ain’t no Maria Carey!

This chucklehead’s administration is still referring to this as the China Virus?
(I know this is the least thing to be outraged about in this, it’s just so jarring to see)

Same. Super hot water and squirt dish soap if I got a little lazy about cleaning it right away and things got a little crusty or too much grease/fat (which is most of the time, if I’m being totally honest). My $10 Lodges are doing just fine after 2 years of not treating them like super fragile items.

Seasoning on every use? Holy shit. I’d have thrown it out on day two if it was a half hour process. Hot water the grease out, scrubbing with good old chain mail to get the bits out (if there are any). Then on the burner for 3-5 minutes to cook off the water.

You should tip what you can afford. If you’re still giving at least a standard tip on your orders, I’d bet most people understand (although I’m sure they’d always like more!). As long as you’re not doing bullshit like this.

I feel you, West. Do what you can do, which is all any of us *can* do. I’m so fucking lucky that I can do my full time job from home, and have been for 3 weeks with no real impact on my wages. I’ve bought enough food to cook from home but I also get takeout regularly from my local joints and have been tipping extra

Listen I want to tip more but at least these people are working and making some money. My business is completely shutdown, I’m making $0 dollars. Does that mean I should only eat at home (prolly since it’s cheaper and I’m broke)? But I can still afford my favorite Mexican joint with the small saving I have but not I’m

I have been tipping some extra, mostly because my heart breaks for all these small, local restaurants typically dont have a ton of extra cash laying around to survive something like this it seems.
