I worked as a dishwasher at a retirement home as a teen and everyone had a communal meal after residents were done with dinner. It was just whatever the main menu was.  It was vaguely institutional, but they served turkey and mashed potatoes a lot, which I loved, so it was definitely a win.

One pump in a chai sounds good. In a previous town I went to a coffeeshop that served a “thai chai latte” in fall with coconut milk and lots of spices that somehow just conjured the feeling of “cozy” on a November day.

Last August I briefly worked with a lady who had the Starbucks pumpkin spice rollout as a calendar event on her phone. She and another lady gleefully announced the PSL Countdown update every morning. I was not sad when they left.
