I'm cool with Jacob being kind of boring. I think that's encouraging in a way because you have a character that is black, but doesn't have to 'stand' for something or be a symbol. He's just Jacob. He's just trying to do the right thing and not be like his father and be a good soldier and friend. I'd rather see that

I agree with you on the idea of it being a combo of lack of exposure and extreme 'in the box' mindfames nowadays. You write stories and create characters based generally on what you know or from your experiences. If you don't have a diverse background dealing with people from different cultures or races, you either

Holy cow, that's ridiculous. If it was so much cheaper to go digital there should instantly be a lower price for a digital download. And there is no excuse for a game to be the same price nearly three years later. I actually picked up that game in January, a physical copy, used, for about $7 after tax at Best Buy. And

Great write-up, Owen. I haven't bought a golf game in years but this makes me interested in picking this one up at some point.

I got the same bug. I wanted to get my money back from the cleaning crew. My poor wife has to live with the....um...parting gifts.

I hope they do a price drop on the UMD versions at some point. I'd love to give the Persona games a try but I'd prefer to have a physical copy even if the load times are slower.

I agree that ME3 isn't. Overall I feel it's a great game. Whatever Bioware does to respond to the backlash will just enhance the game, I think. DA2 was a setback from DA:Origins, but it's not an awful game. Rent it if you can to try it. If you like it, it's very affordable to buy these days.

I agree. All that fans should do at this point is wait and see what Bioware announces next month. But I wonder how many of them will be disappointed at what that announcement is, too? I'm a fan of the games and I'm curious about what happens, but at a certain point, enough is enough. Couldn't that $1000 be better

My family had many of the Tiger handhelds and some of the older ones by Tomy and the Nintendo Game+Watch series, which i really loved. This is one of the Tiger ones I remember having:

Nicely done.

Thanks. Yeah it sounds like one that I can wait on. I've got a few other things I want to play and I can pick that up when the price goes down.

So in my post Mass Effect 3 downtime before I jump into another run or fire up Skyrim again, I've been trying out demos that have been sitting on my PS3. I kind of scratched my head at the end of the Catherine demo, like 'WTH did I just play?'. Beyond Good & Evil was kind of charming so I might pick that up.

This one got me:

That Ares battle was a rough one. I had the games lock up on me a few [times.in] God of War III the only time it did freeze up was during that first battle with the Hippocampus. Fortunately I didn't have a lock up a point like the one you described, but it still sucks when it happens. That's why I've been relegated to

I'm a fan as well. I hope that the new console hits the ground running with a strong library of games that make good use of the tablet.

I did own a Wavebird (well, do own, but my GC is in storage) and I liked it, so that reference point works for me :) I'm looking forward to testing out the Wii U once it hits stores.

Ah, cool. That makes sense. Thank you!

My concern with the system is how comfortable will it be to hold that controller/tablet for extended periods of time. But other than that, it looks like it can be an impressive system. But if I get ACIII it'll be on my PS3 because I won't be buying a new console any time soon.

They might just go the standard route these days and make it PG-13 for the theaters and then release the unrated edition for DVD. (ugh)

I agree. But which Doctor would they use? Plus, it would be a great game to put the Sonic Screwdriver Wii Remote to use with :)
