My wife and I bought one of these in 1995 when they were introduced. We got a 4-door Sport 5-speed SOHC in “Brilliant Blue”. $13,300 and we only had to wait 3 weeks for it to be delivered from the factory to our dealer because they already had one allocated.
I see quite a few of them around and know many many people who got well over 200k miles with very basic maintenance... I can’t really think of another car for the price that you could do that with. Maybe all the people I know with Neons were the lucky ones... but seems doubtful.
