Correct me if I’m wrong David, but is a car that can at least turn over (albeit w/o spark plugs) automatically one of the most functional cars on your property?

What is the attraction to 20 year old Cherokees?
You mention this as being an icon of Ford (Detroit) and Jeep (Toledo).
Your probably doing him a favor. A jeep in motion tends to stay in motion. A jeep at rest tends to rust into oblivion
Looks like somebody forgot to put the transmission in Bark.
This is my favourite Mustang. All the other generations are meh, but I’d happily own one of these.
It’s not a complete shit box because it’s not his car.
Nope, I’m bored with this “project” of yours already. Without near-terminal frame rust, what’s the point? Have you gone soft??? WTF, DAVID? WTF?
SQUEEEEEE!!!! That's the most adult response I'm able to muster at the moment.
You want to hear a crazy story? This go kart track in Greenville is directly adjacent to a very well known... how do I put this delicately... it’s a crack motel. It’s the kind of place where you cheat on your wife with some insanely diseased sex workers.
Something I knew I need in my life:
My wife and I bought one of these in 1995 when they were introduced. We got a 4-door Sport 5-speed SOHC in “Brilliant Blue”. $13,300 and we only had to wait 3 weeks for it to be delivered from the factory to our dealer because they already had one allocated.
I see quite a few of them around and know many many people who got well over 200k miles with very basic maintenance... I can’t really think of another car for the price that you could do that with. Maybe all the people I know with Neons were the lucky ones... but seems doubtful.
RIGHT?!
Local? That has to be one of the best Neons left in the rust belt. The paint isn’t peeling off in sheets and it isn’t compromised due to heavy rust. What the...
I still remember the “Hi” marketing for this car. It was well done and really hit the aesthetic that the car had.
And did the Willy’s get scrapped?
For the best answer see the person who inherits David Tracy’s estate and finds his Jeep collection.
