For $20k, there’s a LOT of room for making this thing much nicer. It’s kinda basic.

Don’t forget that some people swear by it for use on arthritic joints. No kidding.
No worse than doing an LS swap on anything not originally equipped with one.
goes to show that people made mountains of molehills even almost 60 years ago
I understand completely. I love having the full paperwork for a car. Other people may not think anything of it, but to me it helps complete the car and it’s just darn cool to have all that stuff-especially the window sticker.
I love the Granada/Monarch/Versailles. Several family members had them back in the day and I have mostly fond memories of them.
VW Beetle heater? What is this mystical thing you speak of?
remote operated passenger mirror was an option on these cars.
You’re my spirit animal. I’d love to live somewhere I could live barefoot year round.
I’ve been a barefoot driver for YEARS, to the point that when I recently drove a brief distance with shoes on, I couldn’t even feel where the pedals are. I doubt I could safely drive while wearing shoes any more.
No AC = no sale here.
You just HAD to stomp on my warmfuzzy moment, didn’t you, you cretin? :(
I’m all for a nice red interior, just so it’s not like the Ford/GM reds of the 80s that faded to 16 shades of pink within the first couple years.
I’ve seen many of these, always atop the integrated head Chevy six. Dunno who at GM thought the integrated head was a good idea for this engine, but whoever it was needs to be thoroughly boxed about the head with a large, smelly trout for his trouble.
I just miss the old printed Auto Trader and Old Car Trader magazines. Those were always highly entertaining, and you actually had to put some effort into that because it required (at minimum) a phone call.
That’s why those caps had a locking nut that secured them to the wheel. With the nut securely installed, those wheel covers wouldn’t even come off in a rollover collision--I’ve been witness to that firsthand.
The Delta 88 was the “entry level” full size Oldsmobile. The base model was pretty austere, though you could option it up to equal a Ninety-Eight.
Since craigslist enacted their $5 for car related ads, they don’t have near the cool or interesting stuff they used to have. It used to be a daily stop for me, but now I may hit it up once a week, and a lot of what’s there is the same ole stuff.
When did the Oldsmobile Cutlass (RWD, not the Ciera) fall off this list? I thought it had a permanent place of honor.
I gravitate toward oddball cars, but there was never a Saturn made that appeals to me. Bleahh.
