Not only that, but still playing the victim, despite Gilligan having now gone on record multiple times to say that Walt wasn’t cut out of Gray Matter and actually just ghosted Elliot and Gretchen because he didn’t have the guts to face Gretchen after breaking off their engagement because her successful family made him

He jumps between writing POV characters, so he’s well over 5-10% finished. We just know he’s at or near 100% with two of them. No way of knowing how far along the rest are.

Strive already has a full roster, every 2~4 months they release a new character as DLC. If you buy a season pass for $15, you automatically get all the DLC characters for that year.

Ugh. Please keep video games out of politics. /s

Most mobile RPGs, at least Square’s, have seasonal episodic stories that can be beaten with just the bare F2P minimum. Paid content (gacha) is aimed towards ranking events like raids and trials, which are typically still accessible for dedicated F2P players but are easier for whales who can buy all the cutting edge

One of my biggest pet peeves is entitled fans demanding more and more from mangaka, especially if they ever utter the word “lazy.” Especially considering how many don’t even pay to read it.

From what I recall, mangaka pay for pretty much everything themselves, including their assistants, studio space, supplies, and so forth. I believe when they’re first starting serialization they’ll get an advance and their assigned editor will help them get that stuff figured out though.

Well, there’s been criticism of white people assuming that anime characters are white-coded even though Japanese people still interpret them as being Japanese, right?

No, they said that all the OW2 PvP changes would be coming to OW1 and the two would have a shared PvE ecosystem.

They said that the PvE stuff would start to be released as part of the seasonal content patches in 2023. It’s not really clear how it’s going to work, but it seems likely that the campaign will be delivered in a more episodic way and the hero mission mode will probably just be incorporated over time as they’re

saying that both titles would be supported

OW1 PvP was always going to convert to OW2 PvP when OW2 came out. They announced that from the very start. It’s just that they were originally going to sell OW2 as a boxed product that would include an exclusive PvE campaign and other features (cosmetics, graphics updates, etc.).

Well, it seems like a big part of working at Blizzard in the video games industry is trying to retain your passion and make genuinely good games despite management being horrible in almost every way possible. I’m sure that’s even true for a lot of the people who worked on Immortal itself.

Because when you start to view people as bundles of statistics you stop seeing them as human beings with emotions and feelings.

Actually, I’m pretty sure everything can be quantified. It’s creepy, dehumanizing behavior, but make no mistake that there’s a constant stream of data being gathered that is used to make all kinds of determinations about what type of person you are and (generally) what kind of products and services should be placed in

They weren’t, at least up until now. This tool was designed by King (the mobile arm of ATVI that makes Candy Crush) in 2016. Activision first started using it for CoD: Vanguard, and the OW2 team has “experimented with it.” They want to deploy it widely within the company starting in Q3.

Most streamers get views based on personality and/or looks. The content itself is usually secondary to that.

Just Nacho's.

Man, I joined my group watch just a bit late and missed the cold option, so we rewatched it after the episode ended. It hits really hard after you know what it means.

I got a sinking feeling in my stomach as soon as I realized Nacho was the only person in that scene who doesn’t appear in Breaking Bad.
