He’s like one of those slightly older boys/teens that manipulates a bunch of younger kids to into being his minions, except he’s an adult with the ability to reach millions of kids.

More than anything this made me realize how much I would like a new season of Cowboy Bebop with a completely new cast of characters.
I think it’s clear that they should take the lesson from fans complaining about FFVII Remake having multiple timelines and time travel, and remove those elements from the Chrono Trigger Remake.
And what are the chances that this is just a way of using the collectibles market to launder money without scrutiny from regulatory agencies? Zelda carts aren’t a rare commodity, they made millions of them.
If not a remake then a novelization or something, at least.
Graves didn’t understand he was dealing with a murderous psychopath. Just thought he was a corrupt sheriff. He hasn’t seen what we’ve seen.
Anyone else thinking we’re looking at a Chekhov’s Gun situation here with the militia Roy’s been funneling arms to? He’s effectively sealed his own fate at this point, even if he doesn’t realize it yet. Too many people are on to him and his operation isn’t sophisticated enough to withstand that level of scrutiny. So,…
accidental double post
Uh, it does start the same and then diverge. And then it establishes that the original story is a previous timeline where Scott beat all the evil exes and hooked up with Ramona but they eventually broke up and he turned into an evil ex and started trying to change history to prevent himself from falling in love with…
It’s not an adaptation, it’s a sequel.
For the record I don’t really see any actual fans of the original work complaining about it. The complaining is coming almost entirely from the brigade of “anti-woke” comic books gatekeepers that always complain when anything in pop culture isn’t squarely aimed at white men.
But Scott is the one who takes off. That’s why he’s gone.
This “his name is in the title” is seriously baby-brained whining, just so you know. Scott Pilgrim is as much the antagonist of the original as he is the protagonist. He’s kind of a piece of shit. That’s sort of the point.
I’ve got friends and have read reviews from people who had neither watched the movie nor read the comics who still enjoyed it. Obviously I think you should at least watch the movie to get full context on what’s going on, but I don’t think it’s necessary. And you can always watch in the reverse order, which can give…
Actually the title is “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” so you’re definitely getting what’s on the tin when you watch the show. Also is anyone legitimately a fan of Scott Pilgrim the character? He’s an intentionally unlikeable character until the later volumes when he starts growing up.
There’s no way any actual fans of the graphic novel would have a problem with this being a sequel that gives more story and builds up all the side characters. It’s not even “about Ramona” so much as its about her exes getting closure, which culminates in Scott teaming up with the other exes for the final battle.
They already confirmed that it ends at the Forgotten Capital but that Wutai and some other locations are being pushed to the third part, with them instead focusing on a new large scale anti-Shinra coalition seemingly made up of Avalanche and Wutaians.
“it seems they have completely lost the Chinese market”
Not just gambling. Ten hot dogs in a pack, eight hot dog buns in a bag. I noticed that shit when I was a kid.
The OW2 BP doesn't even award premium currency.
