Mike can’t overtly protect Manuel from the Salamancas, but he did pocket the fake ID that Nacho had made for him.

There’s a sizeable group of employees (the ABK alliance) that have been fighting for better conditions and treatment. The Overwatch and Hearthstone teams in particular are younger and more diverse, and had a lot of outside hires because they were new genres for Blizz. As a result they don’t have that legacy boys club c

It’s worth saying that the Overwatch team wasn’t the target of any of the accusations or lawsuits. It was mostly the WoW and battle.net teams, which are filled with Blizzard old guard that started in the 90s. The OW team is almost entirely new hires that started there in 2014-2018, and is quite diverse.

She’s Canadian because they wanted to finally have a Canadian hero. Frankly that’s more pandering than her being black, because she first appeared in the Recall cinematic back before the game even launched, but they didn’t reveal she was Canadian until they announced her becoming playable as the first new hero in OW2.

Those aren’t the “character designers.” They are narrative and gameplay designers.

No. There’s concept art of her with three different color schemes, one which makes her look Latina with dark hair, but that palette was nixed because it made her look too similar to Cassidy.

Ah, yes. Sega. Famous for having their finger on the pulse of gaming trends.

Quadratum, at least, is supposed to be in the Realm of Fiction, a plane of imaginary worlds that exists outside reality. Might be how they implement distinct worlds for Square Enix, Marvel, and Star Wars properties, while leaving Disney/Pixar joints in the Realm of Light.

The best practice for me is to read the manga, stay caught up on the story, and then watch the sakuga episodes when they happen.

Don't read about Operation Paperclip I guess.

It’s like Operation Paperclip, even addressed outright in one of those post-Shippuden pre-Boruto novels/episodes that they retained in their cut. Orochimaru tells Sasuke the only reason they’ve been kept alive is that the leaders of the village recognize that they might need “morally flexible” shinobi should a new

I still miss TheGIA. They had some really obscure press kits for Japanese titles from back in the day, and some of the stuff they posted, like early WIP concept art for FFIX, has never cropped up again, even in official setting material books.

It’s been a while but a few years back, I guess after the show wrapped up, he said that he doesn’t like putting in lots of hints and stuff with the intention of just subverting expectations of readers. He thinks that those things should be paid off appropriately.

It’s very likely that Euron is the book equivalent to the Night King, especially based on what Martin has previewed from The Winds of Winter. He’s the master of Dragonbinder, he’s got a suit of black Valyrian steel armor, he’s a greenseer (and possibly a former pupil of Bloodraven), he’s currently employing Jaqen

It’d be impossible for the books to end the same as the show because the show started deviating hard from the books in seasons 5-6. The main villain of the show (the Night King) doesn’t even exist in the books, and the main villain of the books (Euron) is a completely different character in the show.

Hey, I’m AmaranthSparrow. Since this is getting reposted a fair bit, just wanted to add that Ozawa also said 「英語で言うならと言わるゼイとわゼン」 shortly after the bit I quoted, which is just confirming that they use they/them in English.

Based on the demo, the game is about 95% gameplay and 5% story, so I wouldn’t worry about it getting worn out. Cutscenes pretty much just introduce and punctuate each dungeon.

I'm sure it'd have sold better had their Avengers cashgrab not made people expect more of the same. Seemed like a lot of people were apprehensive to even try this.

And for some $90 for what amounts to inferior versions of all three games, you’re probably better off just buying the $100 All-In-One Package from the PlayStation store.

I’ve been following their stuff for a few years now, ever since they guested on the Co-Optional Podcast.
