They need to have some sort of special education program for esports stars and Twitch celebrities to teach them how to behave. Not that this is terribly different from a lot of stories about athletes and actors who get rich and famous at a young age.

Number of treant mounts in WoW: 1

It’s not really the same, though. They were both created with no community feedback, players just voted on which they preferred and the winner was given out for free, while the loser was slapped on a vendor at a later point.

Unfortunately it’s a joke that has been done to death. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they’d done the exact strip before at some point in the last decade.

It's doing the entire series in playable form, in monthly installments, which will most likely cost like $2-3 each, similar to FFXV Pocket Edition. It's also going to include The First SOLDIER story and new stories. All in the style of the original FFVII.

I actually kinda dig the Monty Pythonesque animated medieval tapestry look they’re going with.

Dragon Ball FighterZ looks like an actual, real DS game if you drop the setting all the way.

It will not surprise you that in the uncropped Christmas photo he has two handguns tucked into the waistband of his pants, pointed directly at his dick. This man played fast and loose with his junk, like a true red-blooded patriot!

We need to punish companies that violate the first amendment! I will not tolerate being silenced! The New York Times has refused to publish my erotic op-ed submissions for too long! This is 1984! Wake up, sheeple!

Believe it or not, video games and movies don’t actually have an inherently high risk of causing seizures. Warnings are there to protect companies in the rare occasions that something unpredictable does cause seizures.

There’s a difference between standard boilerplate EULA warnings that protect the company from being sued in the rare instance a game causes a seizure unpredictably, and having sequences in a game or movie that actually predictably (if not intentionally) cause seizures.

I suggest reading the article instead of the headline. The seizures are caused by a specific part of the game that flashes actual seizure-inducing patterns through a VR headset within the game.

This is such a shitty argument. The vast majority of video games and videos do not, in fact, cause epileptic seizures. Games that do have a reasonable potential to trigger epileptic seizures should provide adequate warning.

The actor who played him was the guy from the truecoat scene in the Fargo movie. FWIW the bandaged man and the pastor were played by the same actors who portrayed Rabbi’s mobster fathers.

I assume YT gave them a lot of money as part of the exclusivity contract, since leaving Twitch for YT meant dramatically reducing the size of their audience.

I know the developers are Chinese, but they were definitely trying to make a very Japanese game aimed at otaku. They heavily promoted the Japanese voice cast, and even localized the title in Japanese for regions outside of China.

Is that actually the case? I haven’t kept up totally with Cyberpunk 2077 but I’d be surprised if katana and other Japanese melee weapons weren’t par for the course in the game.

It’s a fun notion but I feel like there are enough SMB1 experts out there that you’d often get stuck in games with people who can complete it without dying.

When the hell is he brooding in Remake? He’s a snarky asshole, sometimes a dork trying too hard to be cool, just like in the original.

It’s crazy how much better Remake generally looks than ACC.
