WoW is becoming increasingly narrative-driven with each new expansion, though, as they get better at incorporating the story into the game through the addition of cutscenes and world-altering phasing, as well as a great deal more voice acting than ever before.

No. A few big names have been killed off (mostly villains), but a lot of new characters have also emerged and/or come into their own, with new conflicts cropping up, well, every expansion or so.

Just that it will probably require new art/animations.

It actually would have been a Warhammer 40k game if Games Workshop had played their cards right. But they didn’t, so it wound up rebranded as a legally distinct IP.

Brigitte’s flail and personal shield design is pretty clearly based on the prototype version of Reinhardt, Wildebeest. Her design and kit also draws obvious inspiration from the Diablo 3 Crusader and World of Warcraft Paladin and Discipline Priest classes.

I think there’s a chance the upcoming second Sym rework might see her finally pushed into the Defense category.

That’s what I’m wondering. But it could also be a dig at them not jumping ship along with the rest of KJP.

The initials of the KIA (killed in action) soldiers spell MG (Metal Gear). The MIA (missing in action) soldiers spell out KJP FOREVER (Kojima Productions Forever), and the AWOL (absent without leave) soldiers are named after former KJP staff who directed and produced the game for Konami. It’s not exactly subtle.

Fun fact: Akiman, the Capcom artist responsible for designing most of the cast of Street Fighter II, considers Overwatch to be its spiritual successor. He also went to Blizzcon 2017 and did video reports for Square Enix.

They seem to be putting the game on the backburner. I would guess they’re either going to shelve it entirely, or they’ll wait for people to forget about it so they can relaunch an improved version.

Where else have you seen this?

Nomura only went heavy on belts in the PS2 era because it was a way to make the 3D artists push technical limits. Riku only wore one belt in the last game.

It’s an incredibly standard setup. “The Hero,” “The Lancer,” and “The Chick.” If you start looking you’ll see it in everything.

Don’t blame it entirely on Disney/Marvel. It’s not exactly like Street Fighter V is hot shit, even after Arcade Edition launched. Capcom has their fair share of the blame.

Genji seems alright as a flag carrier — at least I was able to cap it three times in the last game I played. His double jump and wall climb helps. Also a good argument for letting some of the other characters use some of their more minor movement abilities. Maybe just triple their cooldowns while they’re holding the

Not compatible with my tablet. I am very disappointed.

True. I simply said it was unnecessary. And it is.

The FGC is all about this sort of drama. It’s just like wrestling / boxing / MMA. You’ve gotta have the heels stirring shit, it adds to the tension and atmosphere when the players go head-to-head. And when they finally get stomped down, it’s all the sweeter.

From what I heard, that had less to do with the OWL franchises fussing and more with Korean culture and specifically Geguri’s parents being uncomfortable with her being in co-ed housing, as she had just turned 18. In South Korea, co-ed housing for students is still pretty uncommon.
