Overwatch has very open lines of communication with pro teams and AFAIK pretty regularly invites pro teams to scrim upcoming builds. Pro teams also play on the PTR often. They are prepared for changes before they happen.

If they gave her old rez a cast time then it would be pretty much useless in competitive play because any decent pro player can flick headshot her as soon as she starts casting it.

I think other healers need some slight buffing, but Mercy’s resurrect ability is just too disruptive to the game’s flow. Making other supports just as disruptive would just exasperate the core problem, only fixing the issue of Mercy generally being a must-pick support.

What they mean is that she can negate and undo what would otherwise be a decisive end to a teamfight. It’s sort of a problem in terms of gameflow, because the game generally revolves around pushing onto an objective by decisively winning a teamfight and then moving on to the next objective while the defeated team

I’m not sure they should be balancing the game around people who jump in and out for a few days once month. No offense, but your opinion on hero balance in a game you barely touch doesn’t hold a lot of weight.

The core problem is that the game needs decisive ends to teamfights and Mercy is too good at disrupting that. Her healing isn’t as much of a problem as her resurrection is, because it causes fights to drag on well beyond moments that should be game ending.

The fuck are you talking about? Genji has never been buffed, only nerfed. The closest thing he’s had to a buff was a bugfix to Dragonblade, seven months after they nerfed its duration.

Asking for someone’s number in and of itself isn’t remotely close to sexual harassment, though definitely improper considering their work relationship. It’s about as mild as you can get when it comes to making an advance.

The guy is an alchoholic narcissist. I personally had to stop listening to his podcast about a year back because the way people constantly gave him a pass for his behavior just for being open about it made me pretty disgusted. He acts like being a shitheel is acceptible if you’re honest about it and that anyone who

Psychological abuse is really more Harmon’s thing (especially in those days), though I wouldn’t be surprised if he drunkenly made a pass at her.

Japanese comedy is stuck in the dark ages of vaudeville anyway.

Agreed. You can absolutely tell they were written by different people with contradictory goals. TLJ pays off so little of what Abrams setup and is largely unconcerned with setting up payoffs for IX. I would say the biggest issue with the films is that there’s no unifying vision behind them. Read the art book for TFA

Yes, absolutely. Attempted murder, terroristic threats, obstruction of justice, and probably more. Wielding law enforcement itself as a weapon to harass, threaten, and terrorize, with disregard for the possibility of damage or death.

Swatting should be treated as attempted murder (tack on terroristic threat, false report of crime, and obstruction of justice). In this case, second degree murder, or at least criminally negligent manslaughter.

Not entirely seriously, as he didn’t design the characters, and he has a sense of humor about such things (for example, requesting fans to compile a zip of 2B fan art so he wouldn’t have to waste time searching for it).

But... divorced from the Star Wars brand, judged purely as a movie, is The Last Jedi even remotely worth watching?

124 lootboxes should be more than enough to get every legendary from a single event and a ton of currency for future events.

What announcements?

They don’t need to use ships, if all that matters is mass and lightspeed, then why would you bother building the ship? You’d just make it a huge missile. Hell, carve it out of a moon and slap some hyperdrives on it.

Then just build a hyperdrive missile. Use a laser and carve the whole fucking thing out of rock (just slice up some unimportant, uninhabited moons), if all that matters is the mass of the projectile, and slap some hypderives and a rudimentary navigation system on it.
