I’ll start by saying that while I gave Pewdiepie the benefit of the doubt before, this does make me think he probably is a closet racist, or at least talks like that casually when off camera.

Mercy is still easy to play. No aim required, her gameplay revolves entirely around positioning and situational decision making, and her ult now boosts her mobility and her default kit. The change to the rez mechanic promotes more active and thoughtful play, and discourages bad habits like hiding and ult hoarding.

There’s nothing wrong with raising the skill ceiling on an entry level character. Players should be driven to constantly improve their level of play in a competitive game like Overwatch, not reach a (low) ceiling and then stop.

I think something a lot of Mercy mains maybe don’t realize is just how many toxic Mercy players are out there. Probably because they tend to auto-lock Mercy and rarely if ever get grouped with them.

Skulking Geist will at least allow other control decks to compete with Jade.

N’Zoth’s First Mate, Blood Razor, Arathi Weaponsmith, Arcanite Reaper, Gorehowl. And people will still run Fiery War Axe. There are other classes running 3 mana 3/2 weapons just for the stats.

The issue with ramp in Hearthstone is that unlike most TCGs, you’re guaranteed to gain mana incrementally every turn. That means that ramp is extremely powerful in HS. Druids also currently have 5 mana ramping cards in the current standard rotation, and just gained access to a powerful new card draw tool (in addition

Hearthstone is a digital card game.

Maybe the “function” is that warrior already has several cards that synergize with weapons? How many games have you lost as warrior because you didn’t have FWA in your hand on turns 1 or 2?

I actually don’t think they would have been “far more positive.” If that were the case it would really feel like they’re trying to capitalize on his passing.

Haha, wow, what a cool guy. I have a similar story, since we’re all in a sharing mood.

The androids breathe and bleed because they’re an attempt to recreate the pinnacle of the human form.

On the Way to a Smile. A series of short stories released in various formats and languages (mostly Japanese) and later published as a collection when Advent Children Complete came out. They’ve been fan-translated, and TheLifestream.net produced rather professional audio drama adaptations of them.

IIRC, AC is supposed to represent everyone being at level 99 except for the Turks. And Kadaj used material to summon Bahamut SHIN, right?

Kazushige Nojima is a weird guy.

Genesis was inferior to Sephiroth, though, to the point that he was basically decomposing. That was sort of the whole point.

Nomura has indicated that Sephiroth is essentially immortal and will just wait until Cloud dies to try again, banking on no one ever being powerful enough to contest him again.

Advent Children Complete is fine, IMO. It fixes most of the core flaws with the original cut (IE replacing redundant exposition with new dialogue that furthers the story), which largely stemmed from it being continually expanded from a much more simple 20-minute short.

Not the International version, then? The Zack stuff was greatly expanded in the US/International version, IIRC.

I think the show has generally moved into an area of wish fulfilment in the absence of source material, which is probably not how Martin will have things play out. The novels are fundamentally a deconstruction of fantasy tropes that skews more towards historical realism, with an emphasis on defying expectations.
