The title isn’t a problem, just the poster. It’s a movie about the Satsuma Rebellion and the Westernization of the Japanese military. It’s fairly accurate, for a fictionalized account with fictional versions of the key players.

I honestly hated his portrayal. He had a few good moments but overall it was way too over-the-top to work in live action, and his character development and relationship with Light was half-baked. The movie was more about Light and Mia and I think it would have been vastly improved if they just turned this into an

Would have been better as a standalone film in the Death Note universe. The strongest elements were the deviations and the weakest were the half-assed attempts to adhere to the source material.

In the post-fight interview it sure sounded like he intentionally avoided going the Pacquiao route because he didn’t want his “last fight” to have backlash from viewers for not being “entertaining.”

Mayweather lost the first three but none of McGregor’s jabs really had an impact and a lot of his success could be attributed to his significant height and reach advantage (and Mayweather hardly throwing any punches). Mayweather was in complete control from round 4 and McGregor was exhausted by the end of round 7.

Doesn’t matter. Mayweather isn’t going to agree to an MMA fight. McGregor agreed to a boxing match.

I’m kinda suprised that Platinum hasn’t jumped immediately into doing a new / remade Drakengard game, since it seems like a pretty easy pivot from Scalebound.

I would kill for a Vagrant Story remake, or even just a continuation of the story. The whole game was presented as nothing more than a prologue to the story of “the Vagrant.”

This looks so great! God, I loved that game so much. I’m beyond excited.

She didn’t. Stanhope said he was the one who did it.

Because Jen Kirkman said it wasn’t CK she was talking about, Doug Stanhope copped to it, and the other allegations are both anonymous and unverified.

No, you’re right. “Stay away from comedy” is the wrong answer. The right answer is: don’t take jokes completely out of context. If you do that, you lose the ability to actually understand the point of the joke, which is to deconstruct and examine something about life or society.

IIRC, Kirkman never accused anyone by name, later said it wasn’t Louis, and Doug Stanhope copped to it.

Yeah, it’ll be so awkward when they make no reference at all to the thing neither character even knows about.

It also felt more like an ad for Hearthstone than an organic musical routine.

FighterZ is Unreal Engine 4, Xrd is Unreal Engine 3. And Xrd needed pretty heavy downgrading to run on the PS3 at 60. Switch hardware is obviously above PS3, but not close to PS4.

They’d have to downgrade the visual fidelity pretty heavily to get it to run at a constant 60fps, I imagine. They’re probably focusing on parity across platforms for the time being, so a downgraded Switch port might be the kind of thing that comes later.

Boo. This game looks fine, it doesn’t have a big budget and it’s the sequel to an old DC game anyway. Stop polyshaming.

Also worth noting that a lot of the animation was cleaned up for the DVD/BD releases of the episodes, which is actually pretty common with anime.

Where’d these come from? Steam doesn’t have any sysreqs listed yet.
