Mrs. Waite runs the complaint department. If you have complaints go to Helen Waite.
The saddest part is just that wearing seatbelts could have likely prevented many of the fatalities. Even in the backseat, it should be automatic to buckle up every time. It’s ridiculous that this is still a conversation that needs to happen.
This is just my personal experience talking, but the apartment complexes I’ve lived in rarely have trucks in the parking lot (usually sedans or small-mid crossovers, not even full size vans/SUVs). The single family home neighborhoods I’ve had 100s of projects in have trucks & SUVs everywhere.
Year round standard time would mean 4:15 AM sunrises in June for me so I can’t endorse that
I thought the world’s slowest drag race was that time my friend in a Yukon raced my Wrangler but this may take the cake
Hopefully this one gets out of the grays, but I’m glad we had you back for a full week. I have a couple car projects like minor repairs on an F150 and detailing a newer Camry (which I am happy I bought back in July, despite buyers remorse then gas prices have changed my mind), but it seems all car projects take back…
I have convinced my significantly better half that I need a project vehicle, that won’t get me killed (no bikes :( ) and can be driven by her if need be (no manual). I daily an Accord 2.0 6mt so I still have a manual! I want to keep on brand as a Honda fan boi. I’ve settled on an RB2 Odyssey AWD (plans to bag it) or a…
There’s a high mileage e92 M3 for sale near me, working on it is not necessarily a detractor for me. I’ve been stuck in a 2006 Impala for long enough now that I’m scared to make the jump. This is more of a cry for help than anything else.
Why are we comparing gas prices to a year ago, when demand was still wildly depressed by the pandemic? Saying they are up a dollar from a time off unnaturally low demand feels more than a tad disingenuous. We are still far below what was the norm for a lot of the past 15 years or so, inflation adjusted.
Surprisingly no. There’s manufacturer-specific training/certs but that’s it. I.E. Yamaha has their own classes, Honda has theirs etc. You can attend MMI and get “certified” for different makes (I did that back in 2002-2004) but that’s it.
I don’t mind people doing the upgrades. It’s the people doing the TRD Pro badging when they do it. I’ll be putting the TRD wheels on mine at some point, and I do prefer the Pro grill.
Jokes on them...this customer wants to buy out of warranty so he can mod it. :)
I know others have mentioned full-size trucks, but specifically the F-150 Raptor. Now don’t get me wrong, this is an amazing vehicle off-road...if by “off-road”, you mean specifically wide-open high-speed desert running. If you were to, say, try to do the type of off-roading that happens here in Appalachia, then the…
NASA’s Curiosity. Perseverance is a far superior vehicle in every way.
I have no beef with sellers not fixing their cars before selling. I don’t have much motivation to fix things if I’m not going to keep them. I price them accordingly, though. This guy didn’t.
