Yeah, I really don’t think there’s a chance of that.

They were kicking around a random data fact this morning about how 45% of the country was prepared to not accept the results.

What I don’t understand is why so many people are scared of the possibility of Trump, specifically, deciding not to respect the result. He has zero power or even technical authority to install himself in power, or to prevent control from being passed to Clinton. It would be a serious threat for an incumbent president

I am at a point where if I see the letters S, J, and W being used together unironically, then I read it as a handy shortcut to not waste an ounce of energy on the poster.

I think “y’all” is a very useful word, and I think all English-speakers should use it. How else are we supposed to distinguish between second-person singular and second-person plural?

Joe Biden is also a complete moron.

Maybe they are continung Jack’s story, and he gets redemption too?

Yeah, it definitely seems like that Bourne-series naming scheme would work great here, but then again, I caught myself hoping they wouldn’t when the first teaser art came out, because those can feel kind of obnoxious after a while. It gets to a point where it’s trying too hard, and you’re either shoehorning a concept

Yeah, and to be honest, you could kind of tell that development had first been undertaken by Capcom. Revolver just doesn’t feel as good to play, even relative to GTA games of the time. I think you’re right that Redemption is more of a product of GTA kind of doing its own thing with IP that it purchased, and not so

Because it’s kind of part of the brand? Red Dead Revolver. Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead Redemption 2. Yeah. Not a fan.

Yeah, really disappointed the title is not Red Dead Revenge or Red Dead Revolution or something like that.

That’s what confused me. Isn’t this the 3rd game in the series?

You have a good point, but I always wished I could go full on GTA in that LA Noire world and the frustration of having all of that old-school LA to play in, but not really be able to be free was enough that I beat the game and then never played it again.

LA Noire wasnt Rockstar developed.

That’s a far better critique. Not one that I agree with, but fundamentally different from what you said initially.

An attempt is all well and good, but Noire was a pretty piss-poor attempt, as such things go. I was actually incredibly excited about it, and bought it specifically to play through it with my wife (we were just dating at the time).

But...was LA Noire really that good?

Yeah, Rockstar is totally focused on impressing you, not turning a profit on a highly regarded AAA franchise.

Red Dead and L.A. Noire were also developed by 2 completely different companies, Rockstar had nothing to do with development of L.A. Noire they just published it, it had also been in development with Team Bondi for something like 5+ years

Considering they have to go to the publisher for funding and don’t have a “Give me a pile of money every month and I will send you a game once a decade” deal, the publisher does have some control over what gets green-lit and what does not.
