A completely asinine regulation. Anyone doing WOT in 3rd gear, in town, in a Porsche GT3 is going to get his raggeddy ass tossed into a cold, wet, 10x10 cell for offenses far worse than a friggin’ noise violation.

Yeah, I came to say the same thing. 790 lb-ft is nothing for wheel torque. As a rough calculation, 790 lb-ft with a tire that’s 33" in diameter would give you about 575 lbs of driving force at the wheel. That’s enough driving force to get a 4,000 lb car from 0-60 in... about 3 minutes :) And that’s ignoring aerodynamic

Uhh, it’s not an exclusive if it’s available on PC, right? Also, Redfall is not Xbox exclusive, it’s ALSO on PC. So what’s with the whiney tone? When Sony starts releasing it’s “exclusives” on PC, we can talk. Till then, Sony is clearly the bigger sinner here.

Do you mean like for Indycar races? The streets are closed to the public for the event.

there’s has been plenty of european rally cars brought over to compete over the years. It can be all done under the temporary import permit and the cars can drive on the roads.

I’m not metal. I’ve never been metal. I’ve never listened to metal. I’m am as ‘un-metal’ as it is possible to be.

This is really easy to solve. For the U.S. round, everyone has to drive vintage WRC cars from 25 years ago.

Same deal.

Commuting, though, is bad and boring.

I would enjoy a appliance car that does the boring ass commute and traffic in addition to a sports car. Or a mode that does the boring driving in a sports car.

“Poison cares not what size it is. It will get you.

It’s often the reaction of somebody whose life DOES have bigger problems, but they can’t fix them, and this seems like a problem small enough to fix, or at least to have a go at fixing, so their energy gets redirected from the big problem to the little problem.

Save the electric stuff for the Family SUVs and sedans. I don’t see a reason why gas can’t continue with these low volume sports cars, maybe in a hybrid fashion.

Concorde was operational profitable but that was because BA and AF basically got the airplanes for free, and never had to pay back the development cost. Which was written off by the British and French governments. And I agree - it was an AMAZING accomplishment for the day! And comfortable enough for the length of the f

Of all the people I know who flew on the Concorde, cramped is a word I never heard them say. Yes, I’ve been in the Intrepid museum’s plane. Yes, the seats are about like a modern commuter jet. But then again, a three hour flight at FL60 is pretty mesmerizing and that seems to be the thing that people remember.

Are sonic booms really that loud from 60K thousand feet?

Their rendering would look much better in a Pan-Am livery:

I’m using my car as a weapon of mass destruction but it’s ok because I’m “protesting”

I own a cold water heater. The hot water did not require heating.

That’s usually what they do but there was only 17 secs left to the session.
