I’ve been shooting my die-casts in lieu of cars & coffee lately, but I never thought of using a treadmill, or a spray bottle. These are great shots!

I take this into account a lot. Sometimes I think about taking the metro into the city, and realize that it’ll take me an extra 45 minutes and not actually save me any money anyway, so I don’t.

Some cars are just really easy to go fast in without noticing, especially on big roads. Some because they have power, others because they’re so smooth. You can be cruising along and then at some point realize you’re going 95 mph just becaue you were on a 2% downward grade.

I’ve driven in Germany many a time, at 100+ mph. Even speed differentials like that are fine if people are paying attention and have lane discipline.

A friend of mine and his wife both have Subaru Crosstreks. It’s a decent all-around car, and they both need their own car to do all-around car things.

Honestly KBB shouldn’t even list a value if there’s not at least a thousand transactions in the last year. It’s ridiculous how inaccurate it can be.

Obviously speeding over 100 mph and street racing are never safe activities outside of the setting of a race track under the purview of professionals.
