This comment needs more stars. I’m surprised the OP doesn’t mention this regulation. Fender mirrors never would have happened otherwise.
I’m 6'2" and never had a problem with someone in front of me reclining. I genuinely don’t understand this whole debate.
I’ve been wondering where the EV full-size wagons are, like a V60. Probably the same place all the new 6MT wagons are.
Honestly if it really was designed by DT, I’m *shocked* at how tasteful it is. It’s not a horrible livery, though the red stripe isn’t doing much for the plane’s nose.
As a DB9 owner, this comment pleases me.
What the heck are you on about? Automatics are at best “inoffensive.” Most of the time they sap power, give terrible throttle response, shift at all the wrong times, and are expensive to repair.
Computers are very good at doing exactly what they are told, even/especially if what they are told to do is wrong. Even then, sometimes they don’t to what the programmer says, because the hardware engineer told it to do something else, as in this case: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentium_FDIV_bug. That said, I’d…
I’m not worried about it really. Driving is mostly a chore to get from place to place. For when I want to have fun with it, I can tow my manual car to a racetrack, and sleep on the way to boot.
I do remember a breathless Jalopnik artile from some years ago about a Navy research project that developed a process to produce jet fuel from atmospheric CO2 and seawater with the electricity from a carrier’s reactor. Word was it could be easily modified to produce automotive gasoline for a cost of about $4/gallon.
I’m guessing the only way they’re going to be carbon-neutral is by buying carbon credits to offset their emissions, which isn’t *really* being carbon neutral.
Well, it is the oldest profession.
This is likely to piss off a lot of people with influence. Lots of rich folks live in & around New York City and have fancy expensive cars that they take on fancy expensive European tours.
I was just thinking how hilarious that phone call would be.
Heck, it probably fits into the Superstock IOM class as-is. If it doesn’t, it’s probably because it’s actually in the Superbike class. I wonder if anyone will run one this year...
That’s the thing I love about bikes. You can get the fastest bike in the world, 2 seconds slower than a top-tier race bike, for a hundred grand. An equivalent car would be $1.5 mil, at least.
okay but we’re talking from factory / with warranty here.
This thing is probably running twice the revs as the hellcat motor, so the math checks out.
My DB9 has amber indicators and red lenses, so it’s definitely possible.
