FWIW I tend to have the same attitude. Climate change alarmism all seems very hyperbolic. “Earth will be uninhabitable in 50 years!” No it won’t. It’ll be 3 degrees warmer on average and Minnesota will be very slightly more comfortable.

What *possible* regulation could those tail lights have been violating while mounted on glass?

Honestly people barely use turn signals anyway so I don’t see the problem.

I look forward to manufacturers bickering over this altitude record like they do with the Nurburging.

Kickstart was my lifeblood when I had to be up at 5 am for work (or do night shifts). It was way more caffeine and way less sugar, plus had those bonus nutrients to help stimulate energy production, tasted pretty good, and was way cheaper than Monster or Red Bull.

My DB9 has an EPA rating of 13 MPG *combined*

I was gonna say. It’s still a sticker. Just a sticker made of metal.

Aluminum is child’s play, Beryllium badge or GTFO.

I did not speak sufficient French (the rental was out of Liege) to argue about it, and I didn’t want to tip them off that I was going to the Ring with it. Didn’t look like I had a lot of choice in the lot anyway.

One would think and hope so, that and a decent insurance policy, but I don’t know how enforceable that type of thing is if things go south at an event hosted there.

If they typed the domain wrong, even the TLD, there’s a chance you’d be able to register that domain, get an e-mail address for it, and go from there.

If I were to make more of a habbit of it I’d do one weekly and one monthly.

IMO, you shouldn’t really count cloud backups as part of your three copies, but it’s probably fine as long as you have the other two.

Oh man, Europcar got you a Golf?

As long as the Nurburgring stays unrestricted, speed limits on the Autobahn will probably be fine.

I have no idea about the legal implications of that kind of thing, that could get complicated. I’m also not sure how the economics would work out. It wouldn’t be an expensive place to run day-to-day, and real-estate would be cheap in the areas where you wouldn’t get noise complaints, but I don’t know how much it costs

I really like Cars & Coffee as an idea, and the ones I’ve been to seem to be fairly well-behaved. I’ve seen a couple ideas for good ways to keep out the punters:
