On the one hand, I’ve recently learned that a VW out of warranty can be very frustrating.
This is true and one of the reasons I liked Rogue One so much is that they actually bothered to reproduce some of this aesthetic on the pilots, soldiers, commanders, etc., thus making it feel like a historical war film at the same time as being about lasers and starfighters.
I was car shopping last month and a local dealer offered to sell me a new Buick Regal TourX for $24k. I really liked the car. I feel kind of guilty for not buying it, but I really wasn’t quite in “new car” financial territory.
Should’ve said “first gear is optional”

Well it’s not that simple really. I’m working as an “independent contractor” right now, but I have to go to the same place during the same core hours as the full-time people.
This song came on my iPod the first time I drove the Nurburgring in my Lotus, and it was pretty epic.
This year is a little foggy for personal reasons, and hardly compares to the three years before, but my highlight is probably having photo credentials at the VIR IMSA race and getting my photos posted somewhere other than my Flickr stream. http://www.velocitymagazine.com.au/2019/11/20/weathertech-series-at-vir/
