I was a Campfire Girl in central OK in the mid 80s. We had the same rule. In fact, if you needed to leave your troop for anything, at any time, you had a councilor with you. I had to pee in the middle of the night once and my councilor wouldn’t take me to the bathroom. Guess who went home with a wet sleeping bag. :-/
