When I see a poorly maintained or treated interior like that, I take on the assumption that the rest of the vehicle was similarly treated. I might’ve voted NP if it was well maintained but I gotta go CP on this one.

My appt for Global Entry was less than 3 months from the time I set the appointment, so it ended up not being an inconvenience. Glad the walk-in appointment worked for you.

I’m glad you mentioned (but wish you further emphasized) that the corrosion can extend down the positive and negative cables if the corrosion is unaddressed. What makes this even worse is that you cannot see the internal corrosion and the troubleshooting can take a while

I buy OEM or high quality aftermarket whenever I can. I don’t like to replace parts multiple times. For example, I had to put on an O’Reilly power steering pump because OEM was not available for a week and I had a road trip. The O’Reilly pump failed after 6 days. “Lifetime Warranty” is great if you want to spend your

$5000, maybe. There’s nothing special about this gen of cars. At least the humpack versions that came out after these had a unique appearance.

Recent (past generation) Honda Civics with their split dashes were a courageous design that many considered a fail. The current Civic is polarizing because Honda took risks with their designs. The smaller Lexus models take some ugly design risks. The new Volvos took some risks. Heck, Jaguar took massive risks by

This, exactly. I actually do more wrenching now than I did 20 years ago. More knowledge and better tools make it more enjoyable. Except I’m working with a garage brutally heated by the AZ sun.

Hood is aluminum on the 5th gen but you are correct, they are still heavy. And still fun to drive.

Irrational. Sometimes we treat daily drivers as priceless investments when we know that really they are nothing more than expenses meant to be used.

Why use this over TripIt? Most of my travel is not booked with my gmail address so I’d have to forward the emails anyway. TripIt is a mature, and in my experience, trouble-free platform.

So is there anything wrong with buying a larger vehicle because you enjoy a larger vehicle? I don’t necessarily NEED a larger vehicle, but I might enjoy the looks, the comfort, the amenities, etc. I also don’t NEED a large TV, but I like it. I don’t NEED more than one set of shoes, but I have several. I don’t need two

Well, I plan on “using up” my car in 3-6 years. In that time, I’ll take excellent care of the mechanicals and pretty much always keep it spotless. But I really don’t care if the clear coat or even the base coat gets damaged by the brushes in car washes. Does that make me not care about my car? I don’t know. Will I

It needs a transfer case and 4WD for true awesomeness

This show is as much about the two individuals as it is about the cars. Networks often feel the cast members are dispensable, and some cast members are, but here they are the soul of the show. Edd and Mike are a big reason why I watch this show. Some of the other shows’ characters (Graveyard Carz, Junkyard Empire) are

Can’t argue with you on that! It is an annoying name to see or hear.
