I have purchased better tools and a lift and I’m working on garage heat. I wont stop but I will make life easier. I’m now 40 and I have learned my lesson about cheap tools and no lift.

It is entirely possible that a engine can hydrolock after splashing through a slightly deeper rain puddle. Still, the puddle has to be pretty deep, and the intake box is likely not stock for it to feasibly happen.
