So my wife will be safer if we trade her CR-V hybrid for a ZL1 Camaro? I’m in!
So my wife will be safer if we trade her CR-V hybrid for a ZL1 Camaro? I’m in!
That depends on the down payment and the monthly payment. My wife’s 2024 CRV Hybrid has probably never been underwater, and after 14 months, we owe $12K less than we could trade it for - and Honda sends us a monthly offer to do just that. No thanks! ~$7K down and $1025/mo for 36 mo at 3.9%, iirc.
When I worked for a black car service some years ago, my Caddy salesman called to tell me he’d just taken a pair of 2-yr-old black Escalade EXT with 10K miles on trade for a pair of new black EXT. This wasn’t a different generation of Escalade, the new ones were identical to the trade-ins. I shook my head in…
A person who drives 11K in 4 months is not a great lease candidate, unless maybe they have a spectacular write-off opportunity. Also, this person is clearly an idiot on many levels.
This is literally the definition of “track width”. I hate the many ways the youth of today misuse the word, “literally,” but it is appropriate here. I sure hope you aren’t responsible for this headline.
Not an exciting color but cool car in good shape and at a good price.
Oooh! A brown diesel manual wagon! Oh, wait. Gas, automatic, and rusty. It’d be cool at the right price, but this isn’t it.
Your Sebring Plus is rarer and cooler than a RR anyway. IYKYK
Once Cadillac is approved and fully in, are they locked in? I mean, could they be ejected for something other than a major breach of contract? Could Andretti return to his original leadership position? Or should I have not asked that out loud?
I love Trans Ams and F-bodies in general. I like the colors on this one, don’t like the missing AC, the automatic, the wheels painted the wrong color. Don’t care about the low-HP engine, I’d take care of that, pronto. Obviously all the bodywork has to be inspected carefully. ND overall.
Adding to the list of places that will store and swap your tires, Town Fair in CT.
I am SO GLAD I don’t have to do that anymore - carry them up the stairs then schlep around the other side of the building. Hell, I even had a house with a garage that I couldn’t spare the space to store winter tires in and had to carry them up from the basement!
If _my_ wife can live with ignoring a TPMS warning light all winter to save whatever money and hassle involved in switching wheels, _anyone_ can. And now the same set of winter wheels and tires that used to be on her Lexus are on her Honda, so that’d have been another TPMS hassle.
It’s not *illegal* but it may violate the terms of the contract you agreed to when you bought the house. And you may have agreed, in that contract, to permit this to happen if you are in breach. Or it may be some power-mad HOA president who became president because you couldn’t be bothered to get to know what’s going…
We need to have a frickin’ ripper!
@Mercedes Streeter - many years ago, I needed to get tags in a state where I was moving to, but had not yet moved. That state required a VIN verification for out-of-state cars, which I couldn’t provide, because I couldn’t get the car there. I worked in trucking at the time and used a truck tag & title service to…
It’s been a long time since I flew with a handgun in my suitcase. The airline person said that although there was supposed to be a tag on the handle of the suitcase identifying the presence of a gun, I should instead put the tag on the gun case inside the suitcase, so as to not make it a theft target. I appreciated…
One of my vendors at work has one as his company vehicle. I email him the recall announcements every time I see one in the news...
And that opposition candidates are allowed on the ballot. And votes for them are counted. Etc. So many ways this could go wrong, I expect several will happen.
People hardly ever die at Bonneville. Do it. You’ll be fine.
