“NO TRUCKS ON PARKWAY, YOU’LL HIT A FUCKING LOW BRIDGE!”

Here’s hoping we see an election in 2028.  I’m not betting on it.

Yup, it was probably around 1986 when I was there. It’s a shame it’s gone. Ever been to the collection/dealer in Vegas that’s changed names a few times? It was the Quad-something one time, and something else the other time I was there. That’s probably 10-15 years ago too.

Check the truck forums (fwiw).  Anecdotally I know several people with near-new GM diesels that would love to get rid of them due to trans issues there is no fix for.

A friend had one of these and put 220K on it.  He had a great indie shop to work on it much of the time.  IDK what he spent on it, but the only major problems he had were due to errors by dealer service departments while under warranty.  He got a free new engine out of their screwups.

I’ve been there once or twice. Epcot is at least as disappointing as you imagine. Even if they had a “Kevin Day”, this Kevin is staying home.

Too bad about the 3.1 engine, I’d have preferred the 3.4 DOHC. Though the 3.1 is about as simple and straightforward as you can get...

“Reining, not “reigning. Thank you.

My wife’s former employer decided that providing company cars to their employees worked out better if they just rented them long-term from Hertz, rather than the conventional ways to provide cars. IDK what their criteria were for “worked out better,” but that’s what they did.

The Federal minimum wage, that is, which only applies in 7 states that don’t have higher minimums.

There are still inexpensive new cars out there. Would I rather have a used Corolla than a Mitsubishi Mirage? Yes, I would, and if that was my price range, that’d be my choice.

I am shocked! that people making less than $16K can’t buy a new car.

the further a trailer is from the trailer hitch, the less weight you’ll be able to tow

If a dryer craps out on a 500hp compressor where I work, enough water comes out of the drains the next day to power-wash your car!

Your brother from another mother lived in my neighborhood! This was in the early-mid 80s.  He had something like a 73-75 LTD coupe with wide wagon wheels under his stock wheel covers and was supposed to be one of the fastest cars in town. I don’t remember what color the car was before he painted it flat black.

Don’t “update” it, Tom; backdate it!  Do a movie with Superbirds and Monte Carlos and Torinos!  Otherwise, I won’t be watching, even on a cross-country flight.

NP on condition alone, but it’d be a more NP if it wasn’t for the color. The red is fine, but not with that pale yellow. And too bad about the 400M engine. If I were in the market for a malaise Lincoln, this would not be the one for me, no way.

I saw this at Harrah’s, way back when Harrah’s existed. When I saw the headline, my first thought was that whatever the headline referred to, I was going to reply, “that’s not the coolest Jeep ever, THIS is.” Fortunately, you did not post some LS-marine-based V12 in a new Gladiator or whatever.

Price and mods? IDK. Seller is a clown? ND.

I think my 96 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel had those when I bought it. Of course they’re not the same tires that are made with that name now, but I’d never buy another set. They would get stuck in damp grass.
