I cross-shopped new GTI, STi, Charger Scat Pack, Accord Sport and a used LS430. The only one I test-drove was the Lexus, and I bought the GTI based on having extensively driven the previous generation plus an A3 TDI with the steering wheel on the wrong side. Terrible decision-making process that I would not recommend

I don’t want it, but it’s a nice price for someone who does. It’s way cheaper than a nice BMW E46 convertible (well, at least a 330, IDK what the lesser ones go for).  This would be a nice car for my wife.

I didn’t know about the Dailu, which gives off a Bizzarini vibe. I don’t recall knowing about the Plethore either. And I didn’t know (or recall) that Intermeccanicas were ever made in Canada, though the coolest cars under that nameplate, the ones that come first to my mind, were not made in Canada. I like the idea of

A whole lot of folks don’t seem to mind that their V6's sound like ass.

I was just about to pay $50K for a Frontier, but since you’re begging, I won’t...

They’re not selling them as 2008 models. Whatever the mfg wants to call the model year of a vehicle, it can only be sold in the US with that model year designation thru one January. So if it was available as a 2008 model in Jan 2008 (as it would be) it can’t still be called a 2008 model in January 2009. If the 2008

I bet the keys were in them. Removing and storing the keys securely in transit seems like it would be wise, except it’d be a mess to do, and the railcars are locked and it’s a fucking train, so stealing them (successfully) is a bit of a pain. It’d be easier to bust into a dealership, grab the keys and drive off.

Honda has structured the Accord and CR-V so the hybrid versions are the only options for the majority of trim levels. On the CR-V the entry-level LX and mid-range EX and EX-L are offered with a normal turbocharged four-cylinder while the Sport, Sport-L and Sport Touring are only available as the hybrid,

Yes, and a good chunk of the Euro engine options in all cars were diesels that most Americans didn’t want either.

This is a flip of a flip. Bought on BaT in Oct 2023 for $11485 from a seller who’d bought it somewhere in July 2023. BaT has sold 3 other white 93-94 Accord LX wagons with automatics, all with far fewer miles, two of them for less than this ask. None, however, have the “rare, dealer-option” leather seats (read:

Remember the suit against Lowe’s over the fact that a 2x4 piece of lumber isn’t actually 2"x4"? Lowe’s settled for $1.6M. Home Depot and Menard’s beat similar attempts.

I’d have been 9 in 1976. I feel like I was younger than that when I heard the sonic boom. So, yeah, maybe it was military. Or maybe a sonic boom could send me running home crying when I was 9...

Woodsy The Owl says, “Give a Hoot, Don’t Run Your Wife Over With a Ute!”

Yeah, but the source article in QSR _is_ a slide show.

He’s not already doing that?  Too bad...

I’ve been to 8 of these. Atlanta Bread is worth going (at least as of the last time I was there, which was a long time ago). Biscuitville, I don’t really remember, but I like biscuits, so I’d go again. Bojangles, Krystal and Whataburger aren’t particularly better than their competition, but I’d eat at them. I wouldn’t

I grew up in Potomac MD, NW of DC. I can’t imagine I was in the flight path of the Concorde, but I heard a sonic boom when I was about 5, probably, so ~1971-ish. It sent me and my friend crying and screaming back home. You wouldn’t want that kind of boom happening regularly. I recognize ~1971 sonic booms were worse

I’m not a 7-series buyer, but if I was, and wanted a project, this is the one.  NP.  Though I _would_ look into what a ready-to-drive manual 7 is worth, and if there are any available.

We did a 10-day train/bus tour that started in London and finished in Rome. We were in a new city every day or two. It was great, but it was also a lot of riding, a lot of loading and unloading and packing and unpacking, etc. It was a lot of fun but I wouldn’t do it again. From now on, we’re picking a spot and not

This is outrageous! The “V6" and “V8" electric motors are clearly inline designs, not vees.
