We have basic robot arms where I work, and it would take either a failure of the safety systems, or a deliberate defeating of the systems for this to happen. A failure is pretty unlikely. Defeating safety systems is not uncommon in general, though I’ve never seen it happen with the robots. Scratch that; yes, I have.

2nd gear: Elon Musk responded to the senators’ letter with a poop emoji.

Gag me with a spoon.

I’m not as impressed with these now as I was when they were new; I’d rather have a Taurus SHO, but you’re not getting one of those for $4K in nice shape. A Quad-4 Beretta GTZ would be nice too. This is couch-cushion money. NP.

Neutral: Your keyboards have two “b” keys. That’s kinda weird.

I hate spending an hour sweating or freezing in my driveway to clean my car, dragging out the hose and bucket and cord and vacuum and supplies, then dragging them all back in again, so my cars get washed about once a year. I don’t want to go to car washes because of all the potential damage they do to the car.

As an over-50 male who commutes to work 5+ days per week, I won’t bother with this even if they get the service time below 5 minutes.  Regular McD’s is just fine.  I’ll eat it while I drive, like God intended.

Sorry, the writer of the Wiki Custom Cruiser article said the _wheelbase_ of the wagon was longer than everything “in its segment” but the Suburban. Overall, the wagon _is_ longer than the Suburban.

my I4 hemi power 73 VW Westy”  - inquiring minds want to know more

There’s one on Hemmings Auctions, 1 day left, reserve not met at $22500 iirc. Has a 400, buckets and floor shift, SS1 wheels. No indication if any of that is original. Has 442 emblems. Nice green color, not original. The underlying car is possibly not as nice as this one.  Another one with a white painted roof, which

Huh? The 71-76 Custom Cruiser is a B-body. Unfortunately they were not quite as long as a Suburban. At least not a 73+ Suburban, according to Wiki.

Fuck these ungrateful, entitled, asshole customers. They find the super-rare place that actually makes a proper carbonara and demand they use some fucking alfredo shit out of a jar (or whatever)!

It’s vital that folks like us find a boss who realizes we are worth putting up with.

The headlights are just meh. The awkward spoiler and skirts are... awkward, I don’t like the GTS wing, the wheels are ugly, and the rear wheel spacers and flares look like dogshit. A 928S is the cosmetic sweet spot for me. Stick a set of phone dials on it and I’m good.

Lexus had a CPO lease deal a few years ago.  It wasn’t bad at all, if leasing is what you want to do.

I had to look that up. Super-boring color on the car in the show. _This_ one is exquisite!  Also I learned that the Olds and Buick wagons have a 6" longer wheelbase than the Chevy and Pontiac, which, now that I know it, is easy to see in the back doors.

The Custom Cruiser is the B-body (or C?).  It has a normal roof and the clamshell tailgate.  This is the A-body Vista Cruiser.

It’s interesting that you avoided TGIF all this time. I figured that’s the kind of place every high-schooler ends up at least once (unless there isn’t one anywhere near you).  I’m sorry for people who don’t realize how much better food is out there, just waiting for them to try it.

Today I learned...
