I had a friend explode about this recently because she is Bangladeshi. A mutual friend of ours said that manspreading is a symptom of rape culture. My Bangladeshi friend exploded and said it’s nowhere near rape culture compared over to Bangladesh where the threat of rape is real and terrifying.
