Yup. Burchard-Risch’s decision not to even apologize in court for her behavior seems to indicate she’s an asshole who also happens to be struggling with alcohol addiction.

“Six weeks of war at most”
“It would seem he is unaware....” ***insert literally any fact***
State department programs help mostly poor, mostly brown women abroad. I think most of Trump’s white, female constituents would prefer that money be spent at home on them, rather on women abroad who might not even be (gasp!) Christian. I think they are trying to either show the world how much we are spending on those…
This is the most frightening scenario of all. Trump might be a spiteful SOB, but Pence is patient but steady strategist driven by religious fanaticism. And, of course, he’ll be doing POTUS heavy lifting (everything outside of what feeds The Donald’s ego). Looking for cracks and opportunities.
That was my hope as well, that it had something to do with Ivanka’s focus on women’s issues but then I realized that any such programs in the State Department would likely be directed mainly towards other countries, particularly those in poor countries. Ivanka just barely gives enough fucks about real American women…
But trust that his friend/ advisor Peter Theil still whole-heartedly believes women’s liberation ruined democracy.
Perhaps someday they’ll look at the reasearch (dangit! That’s science!) that unequivocally says that investing in women and girls is the single most potent action anyone can take to boost the global economy. I guess we’re stuck in wacky Wednesday where everything is backwards.
LOLLLLL! Still sad that neither are involved in any women’s groups / charities... as women themselves.
My response would be: if you want that kind of information, you might want to sit through a daily intelligence briefing once in awhile.
Rich women aren’t usually the ones who rely on the kind of programs they’re talking about. Won’t benefit the Trumps = not necessary for the world at large.
Seriously. The people who are wondering if this is a subtle slam of DT have lost it. Beautiful people, but looking for hope in all the wrong places.
“I don’t play golf and I don’t have a mistress.”
I really can’t stand her. (Look, people who said I voted for Hillary just because I have a vagina: I’m not supporting this powerful person just because she’s a woman! See how that works? #stillangry)
I would like to be your friend, because I also would like your co-worker to go straight to hell.
This is so odd to me because abortion divisiveness has got to be at LEAST 50% of the reason he’s president.
“I guess I’ve been living in a bubble. [Pence] sounds like a tyrant,” they remarked.
I think it’s truly unfortunate that people cannot effectively vote for what they want, by which I mean that you actually get what you vote for. If you voted for HRC and her agenda, you get that, and if you voted for Trump, you get that agenda. One can only imagine the rage that would ensue when the latter became…
