I don’t think Michael actually knows as much about these four, or about humans generally, as he thinks. He hates humans. He sees the bad side of people, but not the potential for growth. So I don’t know that he was ever actually right that they would torture each other for ever.

But, see, the characters didn’t REALLY develop, because they don’t remember anything of those experiences. We just skipped over a bunch of repetitive stuff, as far as character development was concerned. Now, when they can begin remembering things, they start to develop.

They are both pretty damn wealthy and from aristocratic families. I imagine there will be a pre-nup agreed to by both.

I would appreciate if you are going to use an acronym throughout your story, if you define it the first time. I mean, I know CTE is something about concussions and brain problems, but it is generally best practices in all writing not to just assume your reader knows every acronym.
