I had a dream last night that Trump stepped down because the the Golden Showers stuff, and somehow, inexplicably in my dream universe, that made Ruth Negga POTUS. I was very happy.

It’s incredible, isn’t it. I too have come to the conclusion that as terrible as Pence is, we have to get rid of Trump. I at least think Pence isn’t being bribed/blackmailed by Russia. And that is apparently how low the bar now is for the presidency. 

ARE they united though? Or are “mainstream Republicans” just “better” at ignoring the base crazies? Is there a difference? I’ve spent a lot of time lately thinking about why this election happened ( like so many people have) and I keep coming back to the idea that “mainstream Republicans” don’t listen to the nutjobs…

wow, so, i skipped lunch today and was just about to go scour the kitchen for scraps, and nope. nope. nope. my appetite just bought a plane ticket for Antarctica.

As far as hurricanes, yeah, that could be bad, but we are fairly well inland so the damage would be fallen trees. And I have a weird confidence that no blizzard could actually do too much damage, we’re so used to them and the clean up is so well organized.

All I want in life now is to be invited to the 2017 Biden Beach Boardwalk Bash, wherever it is.

So, OK, Pete’s photos are great, I love Obama, he looks great in pictures. BUT i can’t forget that we basically traded more open press access for these more curated images. It set a terrible precedent for the PEOTUS.

Thoughts:

Have you ever tried the sugar scrubs from Shea Moisture? I live by them for exfoliating my arms and legs. I don’t know that I would use it on my face, becuase it’s basically oil and sugar. 

I also started using Lush recently, late 20s or early 30s. I was interested in the shampoo bars, wanted less plastic bottle packaging in my life. I pretty much buy 6 Godiva bars at a time, that lasts a year or more for me and my husband but we both wash our hair every other day or less

Same here. In the winter, even, I don’t really “wash” my face, but use an organic cold cream. Smooth it on before I brush my teeth at night, let the water heat up while I brush, and use a hot wet wash cloth to gently take the cold cream off. If it’s been really dry, i just wipe gently with a dry tissue, to leave more…

Also I just had the most amusing vision of something bad happening and my husband not knowing I had made a mobile emergency kit, and being all Hermione with her bag full of tricks in the Deathly Hallows. That would be fun. (Oh god, I’m going to die so fast in a real emergency, I’m a nerd and useless.)
