It’s pretty well understood that traffic increases to fill available road capacity, so not expanding the highways is completely reasonable if your goal is to reduce the number of cars driving. If they expanded the lanes, it would still take 45 minutes to drive 7 miles, because there’d be 30% more cars stuck in traffic.

Yeah, the Leaf is a good car. Killer TCO on used ones, for sure. It’s just more than a 7s 0-60 away from being a hot hatch, IMO.

It’s possibly because the Sportwagen is almost the same price as the Golf. You literally get more car for the same money.

It won’t reach hot hatch territory unless someone (or Nismo) can crack the OEM power map. This does 0-60 in about 7 seconds

This means it might make for a fun AutoX car if nothing else.  Low CG, instant torque, quick 0-30.  Add some RE71R on lighter wheels and it could be fun.
