At least they updated the grille.
I didn’t realize just how cheap GTIs are - even those newer than the Mk3. I’ll need to bookmark that for when my boys turn 15.
And my ‘71 Nova looks exactly like a ‘72, and close enough to a 68-70 that few actually nail the year correctly.
Uhh, a 67 and 68 Camaro differ in front turn signal and tail lights. 64-66 Mustangs 67 and 68 Mustangs differ in the FORD emblem on the hood and side scoops. Can you spot the difference between a 71 and 72 Nova? How about a 71 and 72 Chevelle - did you guess front turn signals. How about the C3 Corvette?
Knit polo? Braided belt? Man, my dad’s going to be stoked when he catches me raiding his closet.
I’m impressed at how awful that car looks.
Though a 400% sales increase in only 4 years is pretty lofty target.
Assuming 3 mi/kWh, which is probably optimistic for a vehicle this big, they’d need a 133kWh pack. Tesla like to talk about the magical $100/kWh price point, which would be $13k (their cost) in batteries alone. IF they could hit that price point.
Ah yes, the great internet sarcasm defense. Must’ve forgotten to put it in the correct font!
Some have mastered the forbidden art of the three-pedal, others are still just a young grasshopper.
And the very first reply says “[CCM is] not hard or expensive to fix.” I’m not sure who I trust, but it’s GM, so I know it can’t be that difficult.
That’s golf. I’ve had a few pinecone moments that cost me a few bucks from friends. Except instead of “pinecone” it’s “fellow golfer on the adjacent fairway.”
The man who deserved the most, got the most: Mike Trout.
Yes it will possibly, maybe even likely, be a bad recession; but there is little chance that it will be worse than the global crisis caused by insanely risky business practices which relied on continued demand for the largest purchase any family will ever make to keep afloat.
Exactly. I guess there are savings to be had from fewer parts / less manufacturing variation, though.
Most laptop/power tool manufacturers also don’t use one battery supplier. For example, you can crack open two Black+Decker lithium ion packs, and find one with Panasonic cells, the other with Sanyos or LGs.
“Laid down an Italian sportbike” definitely sounds badass.
