You’re acting like “the record” means anything in the era of Fake News -- they’ll just keep on spinning and pushing their cult deeper into their echo chamber.

Florida needs that crown, so it can sell it for meth money.

1500 men a year / 365 days a year? Worst “Five Guys” ever. Seriously though, nail those people responsible to the wall and fucking LEGALIZE and REGULATE it so this doesn’t happen to more victims.

PROTECT THE SHIELD.

Hiring a whole lot more women and minorities and letting them run departments is a good step. I also think policing shouldn’t be a “lifelong career” job, because it mentally messes with the already weak-minded.

I believe the expression is “own the libs”, not “shits and giggles”.

Where have you been? And can I go there?

It’s the usual “protect the tribe at all costs” retrograde authoritarian mentality (and I use the word “tribe” lightly here on account of its associations). Such ideas are antithetical to truth and functioning democracy, as membership insulates you from wrongdoing in the eyes of those on the inside

I want to bronze your comment, it’s that good.

Counterpoint: if everything sucks and you’re gonna die any moment, why AREN’T you kids fucking everything in sight?

But the boy runs the football good - that’s what matters! You wouldn’t want to destroy this young man’s future, would you?

Well of course. FOSTA/SESTA was just more law-enforcement boner-inducers under the guise of “we’re saving kids!”, knowing that any opposition would be met with a complete lack of nuance. It’s always the same shit.

I’m one of those families. The job is tough, and it requires exceptionally tough people, just not the tough you think. You don’t like it, try private security.

Just say “your brain is lying to you”, point to the studies that show this to be true, and play Billy Joel’s “Keeping the Faith”: “’cause the good old days weren’t always good and tomorrow ain’t as bad as it seems...”.

Heroes who just want to go home to their families, right?

Uhhh, no “probably” about it.

Counterpoint: it’s very, very easy not to feel sorry for him.

He avoided prison time in that case

I’ll *guarantee* most suburban MAGAts read that as: “wait, if I make $100k a year I can retire with $10m? TRUUUUUMP!”
