As a completely defeated and broken Gen-Xer, one of my only bright spots in life is seeing today’s youth doing their thing. They will save us all.

Maybe Keanu and Winona not knowing they were meant to be together set us on this, the darkest timeline.

Maybe it’s time that Bond be put out to pasture. Everything underlying the character is dated; there’s a million other fictional superspies these days.

Well, Bond has finally caught up with requiring its male leads to be physically fit and attractive. That’s not to say that Timothy Dalton, Roger Moore and Sean Connery weren’t attractive, but that was dependent mostly on their faces and charm as they were all well past their physical prime.

Oh yeah. There’s a book coming out soon (I lost the link) which basically says he’s been laundering money for the Russians for forty years. Some of that HAS to be reflected in his tax returns.

*SPOILERS*

that would be a cellist ;)

For a movie that you kinda saw the ending coming I remember enjoying it anyway. This is among the movies I watched as a teen, remember fondly but don’t want to risk rewatching because it’ll ruin the fun. Like banderas in zorro, mrs. doubtfire, brotherhood of the wolf, crimson rivers e.t.c

I know, right? Besides, I would have clicked on this story anyway if the headline was “New York Times Responds to Racist Trolls Mad at Sarah Jeong for Defending Herself.” Still interesting without being false.

What’s with Jez’s clickbait headlines today? This is the third headline that it utterly belied by the content of the story. The Times (for all it’s many, many, MANY faults) didn’t capitulate to the racist trolls, it literally stood by her .

The headline doesn’t seem to match the story? “Capitulates” suggests they fired her, when they actually released a statement of support. Total clickbait.

in middle school after Shaggy got big, i got a t-shirt that said ‘It Wasn’t Me’ on it and honestly i’ve stayed up at night, 31 years old now, thinking about how much i regret that decision.

On the other hand i definitely wish i still had my Kony 2012 tshirt

of all the pictures i’ve ever seen of jennifer lawrence, this is, by far, the most recent.

The top is lovely, but the jeans are too mumsy and the shoes are uglier than homemade soup.

FUCK YOU JLO YOU MAKE ME SICK

To be fair, “I’m not the kind of girl who does this” sounds exactly like what college-age me would say 10 seconds before humping someone new.

kim is out there wearing a style on her head than many a poc, in many of place of work, cannot without fear of termination or ridicule.

I don’t know how many here are from small towns, towns small enough to know “everyone” but the obsession with appearances is paramount and it can be stifling, oppressive and toxic- at church, in town, works .....facade is everything. (think Blue Velvet, the shots of picture perfect homes but Lynch takes the camera

The thing about being "nice" is that it allows for a glorious transformation.
