No movie will ever get as big of a historical free pass as the one I have given to Anastasia. Would happily accept it as actual history, let’s be real. And the romance is forever #goals.

But if they all have Russian accents, how will we tell the good guys from the bad guys?
Despite this movie being based on pure fantasy of her survival, I adore it. One of the best animated couples.
I am usually NEVER into old guys, being in my mid-30s. It weirds me out dating someone in the same general as my parents. But Slattery? Does it for me. I have no idea why, but yeah...I totally would. *whispers* him and Soldier: 76 from Overwatch are my only exceptions.
I’m bummed that so many people despise him when he’s essentially NOT an evil character. He’s done bad things in the name of self-preservation. He’s no worse than Varys, who changes allegiances like underwear. And the one thing that has always been true is Catelyn/Sansa is his weakness and the only reason he makes…
I’m bummed that Littlefinger is now just limited to “that creepy adult hitting on the teenager who says Machiavellian things things sometimes and makes a lot of eye contact with Sansa”. I find him an interesting character, but he really doesn’t get to do much anymore and he seems to have given up his ambitions to pine…
That’s what I said too! “He was until he died, now it’s me.” How hard was that?!?!
Also, when she questions what he means by referring to someone else as the three-eyed raven when he just called himself that too, it’s really not hard to explain “yeah this old guy was my mentor before he died and taught me his power, and now I’m carrying on his legacy” instead of going “oh it’s just too hard to…
The scene with Ellaria was conflicting for me. On the one hand, Indira Varma and Lena Headey were fucking killing it, and the whole thing was absolutely dripping with emotion. On the other hand, Ellaria and her daughters are the only of Cersei’s victims that I can’t bring myself to feel any pity for. Sort of deadens…
I agree entirely with this article, with only a slight quibble with Bran’s sudden character 180, which felt unearned to me.
To be fair, there really shouldn’t have been much of a battle.
This is gospel, all of it.
How about someone punch him in the dick?
Wow. Remember when Senator Warren was censured for having the temerity to read a letter from Coretta Scott King on the floor of the Senate, because she’d insulted Sessions by doing so? They could not abide that breach in decorum due to a senator.
They’re fucking with us and loving it because it makes us look like fools unable to lead the free world, which, with our current choice of leader, I can’t really disagree with.
I know people will disagree with me on this, but someone like Tillerson doesn’t bother me as much as Mnuchin. Tillerson at least worked his way up and worked in an industry that provides a good or a service.
I’m surprised not to see “when Trump wouldn’t let him meet the Pope when that was all he wanted in life” on the list of “things we were sure he would resign over.”
God, remember back when we all thought she was just the battiest goddamned thing to ever come out of politics, and how it was amazing someone that unprepared for office was anywhere even near the presidency?
… isn’t he the only R in congress promising committee hearings into the Russian connections…
The only time John McCain was a good idea was when the alternative was George W. Bush.
