I’m gonna go with mass recall due to fire hazard from rearview mirror reflecting sunlight onto the cloth seats.

We can only wish this was a hot take.

It already looks like the hybrid will be subject to tons of supply issues, thus the $20k base truck can only be ordered and will be mostly illusory. So that’s not great.

Yeah, any car that’s properly taken care of can last a long time on the road, no matter how infamous the model is for its lack of reliability. I know of an Alfa Romeo 33 that spent 3 decades with the same owner and never had any major issues.

If you’re of the belief that things can’t be measured by anyone but Elizabeth, that’s not skeptical. That’s delusional.

If traditions are to be kept, it’ll be the entire rollout of the vehicle.

The roof, based on current Ford trends. Either disintegrate or fall off completely.

Since it’s a new Ford, I’d like to know what key piece of equipment will fail en masse first?

No, double points are a stupid gimmick. The IndyCar championship would be even closer this year, if Indy hadn't been double points. The last thing the Indy 500 needs to be special, is more points. Hell, you could make it a no points race, and it would still be the most important race on the calendar. I'm not

I am generally against double point races. I prefer to see championships go to a driver who does the best over the entire season.

There's no reason to get around this, as it's been allowed since the early 90s. Even red rear Markers, as long as they are integrated in the taillight. I believe Jason's article mentioned this as well.

I think here in Portugal they started popping up in some cars (german, especially) a few years before that, but as it turns out, if the info I found is to be trusted, they didn’t become mandatory for all passenger cars until October 1st, 2000, and any car that was registered new before that date that didn’t have it is

I remember being a kid when the third stop light became mandatory over here and my god, for a while that was the most fascinating thing in the world for me! Our new cars were actually evolving to become more like american ones! It’s crazy that it took so long to become mandatory. I don’t know the exact year, but it

I think European amber side blinker lights are far more useful than the US side markers, and there’s been many examples of clever integration in a car’s design, like the first BMW Z4.

It’s not either/or though. In the EU and anywhere else using those standards, if you have side markers they're in addition to side indicators.

Volvo are one of the few makers who fit side markers where they're not required and so far as I recall they're orange front and red rear.

But realistically - how often is it going to be loaded up like that vs. commuting solo to the office for most people? Or carting a couple of kids around? You can live with slow a few days a year. I’d rather have the fuel economy and cheaper upfront price the other 360. It’s like AWD - useful a couple days a year here

I’m not mad about whether the power is adequate or not. I’m sure it’s slow

Unless something drastically changed”

This is a great take from… 2004.
