I currently drive an Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400, anyone who’s experienced this motor wouldn’t lament its turbocharging or call it underpowered. A bone stock motor with a rom tune is good for over 400 WHP, and punches like Tyson.

Everyone is taking a page out of Dodge’s book of rehashing old platforms. If it keeps the good cars comin, i’m all for it.

Also those people: “The GR 86 isn’t powerful enough.”

Well the dealer is definitely going to try and squeeze it to 50K$. and even still, that’s a bargain compared to the supra...Other thing that bothers me is the Old platform comment, like y’all are really reaching on this one

“My house in Troy, Michigan is just a home base where I store hoard vehicles. I have no home, which is a blessing, but also a curse.”

After it was watered down...

90mph are 144km/h.
Even my old 50hp 1.1 litre Ford Fiesta from the GFJ generation (89 on) could do that. Barely. But it was able to achieve that speed.
With a 90hp Audi 80 or Miata, that is no problem at all. The Audi A4 with the 101hp 1.6litre engine can go over 120mph, and it can keep up driving at that speed with AC

a slideshow to read comments? let me nope the hell out of here.

...What are these dudes even talking about? The Z is 400Hp with a manual and people are like “BuT iT mIgHT Be ToO HeaVy To Be fUn!” Fudge outta here with that.

To be fair, for this to be a German Wagon, the horse should be in the back for better traction and improved view.  Regardless what some French dude said.

I am in favor of every article with a Cugnot appearance, if only so I can bask in the hilarity of the stock image. The inclusion of the guy by the left rear wheel, helpfully pointing in case the driver was just unclear on which direction to steer to avoid the wall gets me every time. “No, Sébastien, your other right!”

It’s called being single and having no roots (Army brat). My family lives all over the place. My parents are in Germany, a brother is in Hong Kong, another is in Texas, another is in Virginia, another is in Boston (sometimes), another is in Arkansas/Oklahoma.

My house in Troy, Michigan is just a home base where I store

...I should probably figure out how to do that.

Also, Turkey itself.

Romania and Bulgaria aren’t yet part of the Schengen Area anyway.

Bulgaria hasn’t yet joined the Schengen Area (the shared border area of the EU) but will in the future as they’re still in the process of integrating into the EU. Even then, he entered and exited Bulgaria from Non-EU countries as Serbia and Turkey aren’t part of the EU at all, hence borders.

Awesome story, great read!

David you are crazy lol just reading this gives me anxiety, 30 hrs alone in an AC less van... OMG!

Agreed, There is a ton of tunes for the 2.5T; I used the Elevate tune that gives +39hp, +53ftlb which really perks the engine up. I’ve been using that tune for at least 6 years + 40k miles with no issues . I can list a lot of stuff wrong with the C30, believe me but power isn’t really one of them. My C30 in this photo

The only reason people lament about the missed opportunity with the C30 is the one-off car with AWD and 300+hp Clarkson drove on Top Gear.
That one was a show car. Not street legal, not only for emissions reason.
Still, 300+ hp from that engine requires not much more than an ECU and exhaust/cat swap. But from personal
