This is a segment down from the Mazda5.

I once drove a colleague’s Mk1 diesel Mazda 6 estate. It was pretty boring, then again I didn’t decide to launch down a flight of stairs in a nearby metro station…
I do not understand why Ford does not bring the Bronco Sport to Europe. I am sure it would sell like hot cakes.
Therefore could be reworded to something truer such as “Next generation Transit Connect will not be offered in the US” or similar.
You can in Europe, but the passenger “touring” versions are expensive (they start at over 30k €). At this point you are better off with a proper car.
It actually it is quite close in lenght to both, about 10cm in length. However it is narrower than the Ford and lower than both.
Echo HB = Yaris?
It is not an Euro-style vehicle. This type of car has disappeared from the European market.
It mirror Yaris offerings apparently, minus the 6 speed manual for the non-hybrid 1500cc engine.
EU-only probably. The Caddy is not homolagated in the US and I doubt they will spend the money to do so.
I was suprised that the EU didn’t require something similar, but it seems like they are. Curiously though in a passive-mode, rather than this in the US.
There is (was?) a Renault ad about the Captur Hybrid where they advertise the greenness of the hybrid version but telling you not to drive it. It was quite clever.
In fact it has been replaced by a VW Caddy-based new generation.
It continues to live, just not in America.
Not so fast, it continues to live in a new Caddy-based generation.
It is not being cancelled, just replaced by the next generation based on the VW Caddy.
It hasn’t been cancelled. Just replaced by another generation based on the VW Caddy.
It is not really cancelled, just based on the Caddy now (part of the deal that makes the Amarok based on the Ranger, I guess).
It also comes in various sizes, as does the Transit, to suit every need.
I think the legendariness comes from the long history behind it, rather than a particular model.
