Quite possibly, the car enthusiasts that could either prefer second hand or do not have the money.

Certainly, although they could have differentiate it more (like 2008 v Mokka). I guess this the last one based on Fiat parts. From now on they will be based on Peugeot parts.

Is this coming to Le Mans as well?

This is barely differentiated from the original Tonale. I wonder how it will be fit with the rest of the Dodge lineup.

There can’t be a “worst 8 cylinder” when there are many other engines with less cylinders sounding, at least, generic.

As long as you don’t floor it’s fine. But I guess that it is more to do with how the drivetrain is set up than the sound of the engine itself.

I understand this is mainly a US-based audience and as such you didn’t have to put up with it but being European… it’s diesel engines. Especially the ubiquitous four cylinders. They sound pretty much like tractors and the only redeeming feature was being more or less quiet at speed.

I had the same thought.

This is the production version.

The front end is giving me classic shark-nosed BMW vibes.

I do not understand most of the choices on this list.

I was thinking of the 6. Have you tried it?

Agree EVs are going to kill manuals in Europe once an for all.

I’m surprised the 5 speed in the Abarth 500 didn’t make it to the list. It was notchy and imprecise, the shift from 3rd to 4th (and viceversa) being especially awful and impossible to do with any briskness.

Mazdas usually ride beautifully (if you stay away from optional wheels / sports suspension). So do base spec BMWs.

Not, here in Europe. 😁

Not for the top class but for what is now the equivalent of Group N (Rally 3 or Rally 4, whatever it is called).

Yaris.

In Europe the forced electrification will very probably change the prices (obviously on the rise) very significantly.

It’s a 3 cylinder because it is the entite Yaris GR drivetrain stuffed into a Corolla.
