I was sure Mother would discover in the season finale that the origins of Mithraic religion are on this planet, meet Mithra or something. I really thought it would go the Prometheus way of preposterous nonsense, but instead it went for a robot giving birth to an alien snake, and then a dive through planet’s core or

I too think it’s a fuckup. If Mithraism became the dominant religion of the Roman Empire and not Christianity, there’s no way Christianity would survive in any meaningful way for close to 2000 years.

TBH, this is my reaction to the movie’s entire summary.

Shut up and take my money!

What’s the point in re-enacting scenes from the actual documentary, which is still available on Netflix, and anything in it is more batshit than anything that can be invented about these wackos?

Ghostbusters 2016 wasn’t a comedy masterpiece or even particularly clever, but I had a lot fun watching it. Or maybe I just find Kristen Wiig funny something like 95% of the time. Still haven’t seen Afterlife, and I don’t imagine liking it.

This story should’ve ended at Culloden, the Jacobite rebellion was the perfect backdrop for the love story between Jaime and Claire, and there was really no real reason to continue it past Claire’s return to the present. Everything after that is just milking the series with ever diminishing returns.

To be exact - [insert episode here]. That got old even back in season 1.

It’s amazing how this show can still produce such hilarious episodes in its 15th season.

I didn’t even know how much I needed this in my life.

Ra-Ra-Rasputin, lover of the Russian queen.

I’d pay extra if Dafoe would just show up as the guy from The Lighthouse, beard and all.

Kaitlin Olson is an excellent comedic actress in general.

How is this even possible? I stopped watching Discovery after 4 or 5 episodes in last season, because it wasn’t even entertaining bad like it was in the first two season, it was just just bad and boring. Are you saying it’s even worse than that?

Or PTSDee.

Liberty Bell episode was awesome.

The roller rink episode seems to support the theory that Charlie went from being just not very bright to illiterate weirdo because of alcohol, glue, paint etc abuse.

Maybe I’m a sucker for the “before they got together” kind of sitcom episodes, but I thought the roller rink episode was pretty good. Not a classic Sunny by any means, but still funny and a lot better than Frank’s Brother. That’s still my least favorite Sunny episode.

Even after reading Bad Blood and listening to a lot of podcasts and interviews with the involved people, I’m still not sure if she fully understood that what she tried to do is impossible. Like, not just very difficult but within the limits of current science - really impossible. Was the con to just get money in order

This show is a fine example of how to make an anachronistic farce, and make it hilarious. I loved the first season and can’t wait for the second.
