The entire bi-generation thing (and the episode in general) was very silly and fun, but it’s Russel T. Davis we are talking about, who once wrote a two-parter about farting aliens.

Monologues were the part of MM I loved the most, even though I’m not Christian. The part I liked the least was when the show turned into a vampire schlock for the majority of the last episode. Still, I think it’s my favorite of Flanagan’s Netflix miniseries. Fall of the House of Usher might be the second favorite. I

struggling to justify its existence

Good to hear that the TV series does at least somewhat of justice to these books. The Arthurian trilogy is my favorite Bernard Cornwell book series, and I hoed they would be adapted ever since I’ve read about The Last Kingdom adaptation.

It’s been something like 10 years since I’ve read the books, but didn’t the book end on old Derfel getting his weapons back from Sansum and going to fight the Saxons who were about to attack his monastery? I liked that ending - a guy who lived as a warrior would probably die as a warrior, just as he wanted.

It’s like the satanic speed metal band, Slayer. A Slayer song now and then really gets the blood pumping, but I have never been able to listen to an entire Slayer album.

I got to the middle of the game, I think - I’ve met the two brothers after a riveting part where I had to hide from a machine gun truck. I think I’ll get the rest of the story from the show.

I started the game after the first episode aired, but this episode (and the previous two, to some degree) made me understand that playing the game is pretty much pointless now, because this show is a far superior way to experience basically the same main story. Yeah, some details or character fates might be different,

N.W.O. is a great Ministry song.

Also, Joel didn’t need to carry a ladder or a board to pass from one building to another.

This season felt like it was pretty aimless, until it came full circle in the end. Still, the cast is great and I’m fine with watching them even in a slightly aimless season like this one. I hope Uncle Jack and The Waiter stick around next season.

The new testers are Uncle Jack and The Waiter from Always Sunny. I hope they stick around for more episodes.

Watching this movie was the most fun I had watching a movie in 2022. It is a perfect version of what it tries to be - an absurd, violent, gory, hilarious and surprisingly touching when needed future Christmas classic.

They never mention Ubisoft on the show, but it’s obvious their parent company is Ubisoft who have one of their major development studios in Montreal (Ubisoft Montreal are responsible for most of Assassins Creed games, some of Far Cry games and more).

I like this show a lot for the most part (the cast is fantastic, and when it’s funny - it’s absolutely hilarious), but I don’t like when it so obviously turns into a Ubisoft promo piece. It’s obvious the showrunners work pretty closely with Ubisoft, and the entire NFT and monetization subplot from this season screams

Bad Blood: The Final Chapter has the information and details that came out during the trial, after the book came out. If you thought the book was excellent (it really was, I loved it), you’ll love the podcast.

Drunk Yeltsin videos will never get old:

The description of the Romanovs’ execution and several attempts at disposing of their bodies is a nightmare fuel, and thankfully the episode doesn’t go into details of what actually happened that night.

Yeah, I highly recommend this podcast too, it’s fascinating and has more details about just how fucked up the whole thing was. It’s amazing that Balwani turned out to be the saner part of that scam, which is telling something about Holmes.

Same for me. I saw him in several serious roles, but all I see is Liam McPoyle.
