I liked the first season a lot, but the second was a complete and utter nonsense, and I didn’t even bother with the last two seasons. I heard they were even more nonsensical. It’s another mystery box kind of show that where the creators thought they were much smarter than they actually were.

Not many TV series were and are on Deadwood’s level, to be honest.

The tape is revealed to be Catwoman.

Yeah, Space Force was surprisingly unfunny for the amount of comedic talent behind it. All the jokes from the first season were in the trailer, and I gave up on the second season in the middle of episode 2.

Martin is a classic procrastinator, and it was clear when he wrote the last two books. When he says he’s making progress, 3/4 done or any other such general statement - it means he has nothing beyond a few chapters in rough drafts and whatever was cut from the last book. He will make real progress only when he would

The scene in the first episode was to make a point and create drama. The next couple were torture porn, After that, I’m starting to suspect someone on the writing team has some very weird fetishes and he/she should keep them to themselves.

1. This is the second time Criston Cole murders a nobleman in full view of other people. This time it’s, I assume, the lord of his house and one of the few close advisors to the king and most nobles in the kingdom know who he is. It’s OK, his family will probably be told he slipped and fell down the stairs and died

Apparently, McTavish back on Outlander in the next season - no idea how, given Dougal died in season 2 and I stopped watching the show mid-season 4 because it got too rapey and boring - so I guess we’ll see the last of him pretty soon. He’s also on The Witcher now.

Same for me, I can’t understand the hate this show is getting. I loved almost everything about it, it’s so refreshing to finally watch a fantasy show that’s not all grim and dark.

One of the greatest scenes ever put to film.

Rhaenyra so far feels like the closest this show has to a central character, and she’s supposed to go crazy once she gets the throne? This reminds me of another show with dragons and a silver-haired lady.

I don’t remember exactly and don’t intend to ever read this book again - but didn’t this entire stupid attempt at rebellion happen because Doran didn’t tell her about his grand plan to marry her off to Viserys, for reasons that Martin couldn’t be bothered to think of because he was busy writing about her large brown

They should’ve sat down with Martin much earlier with the same questions, so that they could decide which parts of the books to adapt and which ones can be safely cut out entirely. Judging by how the show ended (and I think it’s how Martin intends to end the books, at least in broad strokes), 3/4 of the book material

And then Doran's plan turns out to be pointless and irrelevant when his idiot son goes to meet Daenerys and gets himself killed by one of her dragons. He has something like 5 chapters in the book, while being a completely pointless character doing stuff that doesn't matter. This entire plot was wisely left out of the

Another plotline the show improved greatly is everything that happens in Essos in the fifth book. That was an unreadable pointless garbage turned into somewhat watchable filler that finally got connected to the main plot by getting Tyrion to Daenerys. The book ends mid-action during a massive battle, Daenerys flies

He collaborates with them for years despite their behavior, so I think it’s more of a reveal than soiling. He should’ve disassociated himself from them a long time ago and not done things like collaborating with them on a World book.

Were you on IsWinterComing? forum by any chance?

Arondir is awesome, he’s definitely one of my favorite characters so far. Also, for all the hate Galadriel gets from uber-nerds, I like her character a lot. The dwarves are all great, especially Durin. In fact, I struggle to think of a character I straight up don’t like.

I’d extremely surprised if he’s not Gandalf.
