Tromeo and Juliet is hilarious.

Exactly. Everything in this movie progresses naturally and you don’t get a stylistic whiplash when things get REALLY crazy. It's a masterclass of horror filmmaking.

I don't really want to post spoilers, even with tags, for the fear of doing something wrong and leaving the spoilers in the open. I don't mind sending you a private message or whatever, if it's possible here.

Hereditary went completely batshit insane towards the end, but the buildup of the weirdness and the insanity was so expertly done, that it didn’t come out of the left field. By thqt point Inwas ready for anything the film might throw at me.

This was a really good horror film up until the exposition dump in the end and a twist that was obvious to me in the first 10 or so minutes of the film (a combination of opening text about tunnels and a line about PTSD). The exposition didn’t make sense and the twist was unnecessary.

His last 3 or so movies were so godawful, I have absolutely no faith in his writing/directing abilities.

Why every fucking movie these days has to start a politicsl shitstorm these days? Jesus fucking christ, just watch the movie and judge it as a movie, not as a political statement and not because the lead actress said or didn’t say something. This is Ghostbusters 2016 (a movie I did like, it was very funny) and The

We can and we should.

Like The Handmaid’s Tale showrunners are trying to do, with a slightly longer book they mostly adapted into the first season? Because after the second season finale it is pretty clear they have no idea with what to fill the episodes they have to fill, except for making every character pointlesly miserable, and going

I was never much into the whole trve kvlt scene, I prefer my black metal atmospheric and melodic and maybe mixed with some other genre. Mgla and Winterfylleth are two bands I listened a lot to recently.

Something was probably animated in it, so it's legit.

De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas was great. It even sounded OK, compared to other trve kvlt evil music the Norwegian black metal scene used to produce in early 90s. I’ve seen Mayhem live 1.5 years ago performing this album in its entirety and it was great. It is the quintessential black metal album.

The Favourite is so good, it should get all the awards, even in categories it wasn’t even nominated.

I’ve alwayd felt that Diana Gabaldon didn’t think about the stones beyond “they can send some people 200-something years into the past”. It’s basically magic, to start the plot which is a love story with Scottish and American history as a background.

This episode reminded me of several things:

Song Of Ice And Fire books also got pretty much unreadable after the third one. And GRRM is much weirder than Diana Gabaldon when it comes to depicticting sex and sexual violence in the books. Game Of Thrones got a lot of flack because of nudity and a couple of controversial rape scenes, but it's much MUCH worse in

I’ve read the first two books, and decided not to go further because Diana Gabaldon is not that great of a writer, these books are way too long for the story they try to tell, and because the summaries of the other books in the series I’ve read sounded pretty dumb. The TV show improves on them greatly.

Yeah, any Best Of 2018 list that doesn’t start with Firepower is not worth reading.

I loved Man Of Steel and liked most of BvS, and I still hated Justice League. JL sucked on every possible level, it can barely be called a movie. It's DCEU trying to do a Marvel movie, while trying to salvage as much as possible from completely tonally different movie that Zack Snyder was trying to make. Needless to

leaving creator Michael Hirst to indulge his obvious affection for English court intrigue at the expense of what the show was once about.”
